Liquid -Revlon -Color Stay Liquid Foundation Combination/Oily

on 8/15/2018 12:16:00 AM

The store I was at did not have Color Stay for dry skin so I crossed my fingers and bought this one. Please put on primer before this foundation. It will really show pores and cling to any dry patches. However, I think this is a safe foundation if you have oily skin. There are no major negative or positives about it. The pump and glass bottle features are good (but let's be honest, we kind of expect that from most foundation packagings). I tried applying UD's All Nighter setting spray after application and GOD. NO. It separates immediately and the foundation gradually disappears in patches (I don't know what's the science behind is but ew gross). I would not purchase it again because I still have dry skin and I don't feel like going out looking like my skin needs a glass of water.

Eye Shadow -Revlon -ColorStay Creme Eyeshadow

I have the shade 730 (praline), which is a cool toned rose gold shade. It's a waterproof cream eyeshadow that goes on smoothly and stays on my eyelids which btw are quite oily. I like the colour and the shimmer a lot but I don't enjoy the sparse silver glitter particles.

Concealers -Revlon -ColorStay Under Eye Concealer

on 8/13/2018 7:30:00 PM

I bought this in the lightest shade, and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't actually too dark on me (this is not usual - my skin is very fair.) It has a cooler undertone and sits well under or over foundation, and does hold well with powder and/or fixing spray. Unfortunately, it does settle into creases around the eyes and the texture is quite oily and it slips about until it sets. If you're on a budget, I would recommend this - but Makeup Academy does an even cheaper version that is just as good, if not better, than this product.

Lipstick -Revlon -Matte Balm Enchanting 255

on 8/13/2018 7:03:00 PM

I love this balm! It does dry my lips out a little (be warned - it is not kiss-proof and will not stand up to a meal out with the family,) but it is well-pigmented and lasts really rather well under normal day-to-day life. I tend to find it needs touching up every 2-4 hours, and can look cakey if you don't take it off properly before reapplying, or it might settle into the lines of your lips. This shade would suit a warmer or neutral complexion well, for a nice, natural look. It's a lipstick I just can't live without.

Lips -Revlon -Colorburst Matte Balm (All Shades)

The bottom line: this balm is super-pigmented and lasts fairly well, but will dry your lips out. I bought an adorable coral-nude colour (255 - 'Enchanting,) which would really suit warmer and neutral skin undertones. My trusty balm is going strong over a year later, and I use it for a natural look. If that's your kind of thing, you won't be disappointed!
