Hair -Redken -One United 25 Benefits

I would be sad if this product were ever discontinued! To be honest, I mainly bought it for the floral smell...but surprisingly it actually performs well. When I use it I feel like my hair looks like I just stepped out of the salon. I don't spray it directly on my hair though, but into my hands then rub them together and comb my fingers through focusing on the middle to end part of my hair. Then I twist my hair away from my face with my hands while blow drying. Seriously this product is one of my holy grails!

Hair Treatments -Redken -Extreme Anti Snap (new formula 2011)

I can't live without this stuff!! I have baby fine, fragile blonde hair and this is the one product that helps it from breaking off and having to keep cutting it. I also love the packaging, because you can turn the pump so it won't accidentally leak out. It smells like candy, but it won't last after it dries and it isn't too strong. I noticed a difference right away after the first use. It gives your hair some weight and makes it feel healthier. I use it after the shower when my hair is wet but I actually don't rinse, I find the water dripping out makes it evenly distribute. I recommend using this with the Aussie 3 minute miracle conditioner daily, which will add moisture while this adds protein. I hope they never discontinue this!

Conditioner -Redken -All Soft Mega Mask

on 2/25/2018 10:35:00 AM

Not good. Leaves my hair feeling coated, greasy, and weighed-down. The store was sold out of the Extreme Mega Mask so I thought I'd try the All Soft Mega Mask instead. It's not the worst conditioning mask I've ever tried but it's definitely not something I'd buy again.

The packaging for all of the Mega Masks (I believe there are 3 different kinds) is annoying and difficult to use. They're in a dual-chambered tube with one product in the inner container and another product in the outer container. There's the creamy mask part that treats the hair and the clear glossy part that's supposed to seal in the treatment. You squeeze the tube, and both products are supposed to dispense at the same time (in the correct proportion to each other) and work their magic on your hair. Except you pretty much always end up with too much of one or the other. It's gimmicky and it makes using the mask harder than it needs to be.

At any rate, the Extreme Mega Mask is better. I'm not surprised it was sold out but there were still plenty of these on the shelf!

Shampoo -Redken -Color Extend Magnetics

EDITED 2/25/18- Well I ran out of my Kerastase and used only Magnetics for the past month and I am downgrading this to 2 lippies. I'm really starting to hate it now. My hair looks like crap most of the time and dry and flat and it never feels really clean. It also has zero volume. So my conclusion is is sucks unless you alternate with another good shampoo. I've used Kerastase many, many years and I doubt I am ever going to stop. I've tried so many others, I don't know why I even bother. This smells good and if you rotate it with others it's nice. Used as the only one both the shampoo and the conditioner are bad

This is the first sulphate free shampoo and conditioner I have used. My hair is thick, blonde and i get highlights every 4-5 months. I just repurchased the shampoo and conditioner in the largest size when Ulta had them on sale recently.

This smells so good. I love the scent. It's a decent shampoo. It doesn't dry my hair out and gives it plenty of body but the one thing I don't like about it is that after I use it several times I start feeling like it's not really cleaning my hair well or like it is building up. So i alternate with Kerastase after I've used this about 10 times, just to help eliminate any build up. It doesn't take much to suds my whole head, but since it's sulphate free I always feel the need to shampoo twice. I also use the conditioner and it's ok. Don't expect a heavy conditioning treatment from it, if your hair is really dry, use another product that is a deep conditioner or mask that you leave on for 30 minutes or so. Neither the shampoo or the conditioner weigh my hair down or make it oily.

Years ago, I was a huge fan of Redken products, then they dropped all of the ones I liked and came out with tons of new ones and I never liked any of them. This is the first one in many years that I have repurchased. I'm really not sure if it makes my highlights fade less. I still like my Kérastase better, even though my hair stylist swears by the Redken Sulphate free Magnetics, so after I finish the 2 large sizes I will decide whether to stick with it or dump it, but for now, I'm liking it and it does smell really nice.

Shampoo -Redken -high rise volume lifting shampoo

This product was good for the first couple of uses, then all of a sudden it made my hair feel lifeless, oily and a straight up mess. I bought this shampoo to help me with my flat hair. Never going to buy this again.
