Masks -Peach & Lily -Super Reboot Resurfacing Mask

on 2/13/2019 9:28:00 AM

I'm always looking for a good exfoliating product, and one that doesn't leave my skin stripped and raw. My skin is oily, not overly sensitive, but I've had bad reactions to some exfoliating products. I'm relieved to find that this mask didn't leave my skin dry and flaky, or cause breakouts. It actually leaves skin looking a little plump and moisturized, minus the flakes, which is what I'd hoped. My main disappointment is that it leaves my skin pretty red for for a few days after I use it. I don't think it's an allergic reaction, but clearly some kind of reaction that leaves my skin kind of inflamed. I cover the redness with foundation so it's not a *big* deal, but I'd feel even better about this mask if it could have the desired effect without making me look like a tomato!

I've seen some commentary that this mask can create a powerful, even painful burning sensation, and I concur. My skin has gotten pretty tough through retinoids, and in the areas where I use them I didn't experience much of a burning sensation with this mask. But the little parts of my face that get a little overlooked in regards to retinoid use (like near my eyes, and close to my scalp) burned like mad with this mask. Not just a feeling of tingly heat, but a very sharp feeling like if you'd snapped a rubber band against it. It's a little unsettling for sure. I don't believe the mask caused a lot more irritation in those areas compared to the rest of my face, but beware that if you haven't used many exfoliants, retinoids, etc you may be in for a painful experience.

Treatments (Face) -Peach & Lily -Glass Skin Refining Serum

Omg I really love this! It has a gel like consistency that is absorbed quickly. 1 pump covers my whole face. It doesn't make me greasy. My skin texture is smoother. Definite keeper!

Treatments (Face) -Peach & Lily -KBeauty Rescue Balm

on 12/29/2018 1:20:00 PM

The Peach and Lily KBeauty Rescue Balm has quickly become my favorite go-to skin balm. I use this on dry patches, my nails and cuticles, lips, and anywhere that my skin gets super dry. The Minnesota Winter can be very tough on my skin and I usually get dry patches and excema areas on my hands and arms, sometimes on my legs and I use this balm to protect and heal these areas. This formula has a nice thick texture but applies and smooths over skin very easily. This is one of the better skin balms out there in terms of protecting skin while helping to heal and moisturize at the same time. My only criticism of this balm is that I wish they hadn't included eucalyptus because sensitive skin could have issues with this, however, it is the last ingredient on the list so it isn't present in high amounts thankfully. Moisturizers -Peach & Lily -Matcha Pudding Antioxidant Cream

on 12/10/2018 11:40:00 AM

For the most part I really like the PEACH & LILY Matcha Pudding Antioxidant Cream, there are pluses and minuses with this product. I find it to be very hydrating, but it works better in my evening routine for a couple of reasons. First, it takes a while to fully absorb, so at night I apply this last in my routine so it has the entire evening to soak in. This also contains a lot of citrus fruits which provide a fresh scent to the product. I prefer usually to use as little fragrance as possible, especially in the daytime. I like that they included several antioxidants and beneficial ingredients. My skin does feel softer and more hydrated when I rinse off my face in the morning. I still use my normal moisturizer in my routine and just apply this over it. Since it's winter right now I couldn't imagine getting enough hydration just from this cream, but those with oily skin or that live in a hot climate might be able to go with just this moisturizer. I'll definitely use the rest of this jar and I'll probably repurchase again in the summer when my skin doesn't need as much hydration (the Minnesota winters are so cold and drying).
