Treatments (Face) -Paula's Choice -RESIST Super Antioxidant Concentrate Serum

on 9/20/2018 1:04:00 AM

Use this every day! It has a gorgeous matte silken texture, mixes wonderfully into all 3 of my moisturizers that I rotate between, and already contains most of the great ingredients that people are buying expensive individual boosters for. I can absolutely see an overall brighter, even, smoother, plumper, and happier face with repeat use. Make any moisturizer a super-nutrient treat for your face! On my second tube :)

Treatments (Face) -Paula's Choice -CALM REDNESS RELIEF Repairing Serum

on 9/20/2018 1:00:00 AM

On my 3rd bottle of this no frills effective serum. Upper lip angry after bleaching? Eyebrow irritation after plucking? Nose red after driving around in the sun? Weird little rash on my arm? Chest redness from a new perfume? Face irritation after going overboard with a new mask or exfoliator? BAM, hit it with this, definitely works. I also use it as an all-over serum when my face just has general redness. It causes no issues with grease or shine with my oily/combo skin. I've read some complaints about stinging upon application, but it's not the serum causing irritation in my experience. If my skin is already angry I will feel a little tingle and the area will flush when I apply, but this is temporary and the skin is definitely improved by the serum once it sinks in and does its work. Great stuff.

Toners -Paula's Choice -Earth Sourced Purely Natural Refreshing Toner

on 9/20/2018 12:58:00 AM

I've repurchased this several times. It is my favorite PC toner - leaves my skin feeling balanced and revived after cleansing, ready for the next step. No film, stickiness, or thickness like her other toners. I kept trying others because of the specialized treatments and ingredients, but I keep coming back to this one. Sometimes simple and solid are the way to go. Good value!

Masks -Paula's Choice -Skin Balancing Oil-Absorbing Mask

on 9/19/2018 2:22:00 PM

Paula's choice charcoal mask:

This product claims to decongest pores , balance skin texture and reduce shine.
It Has a thin gel like texture that is best for oily or acne prone skin. My skin is normal and this felt comfortable but slightly drying and taut on my face. It did reduce shininess. I think this was due to the bentonite and kaolin clay. This was easy to rinse off.
I had only one pimple when I tried this.  This could potentially balance your skin, or backfire by drying out dry skin patches lol. To avoid this you can you it on the skin patches you need it most.I plan to try this again. When I break out.

The research for charcoal is that is has good absorption properties. Unfortanutely, I did not see any research about using charcoal for comedones.

Charcoal is on the fifth row as well as bentonite an oil absorbing ingredient.

No antioxidants,SII,  or SCC. However it does have AI in the firm of:boerhavia diffuse toot extract, epilobium augustifolium flower/leaf/stem extract, and bisalobol.

The sample is $1.50 0.1 fl. oz. And $30.00 for 3 fl.oz.

This product is vegan.

This product has tapioca if you're allergic.

I will update when I try this again with acne.

Cleansers -Paula's Choice -DEFENSE Hydrating Gel-to-Cream Cleanser

on 9/16/2018 6:31:00 PM

I really wanted to like this. It removes makeup well without stripping the skin. However- beware if you have sensitive skin. Something in this made my skin red!!! I don’t get how they can claim it protects against pollutants and defends your skin when it can’t even be used on sensitive skin.
