Sunscreen -Paula's Choice -RESIST Skin Restoring Moisturizer with SPF 50

on 6/17/2018 6:00:00 AM

The Paula's Choice RESIST Skin Restoring Moisturizer with SPF 50 is a good sunscreen for people with dry skin that hate sunscreens and how either very drying they can be, or how some sunscreens can leave your face looking super greasy. This moisturizer does a great job hydrating skin and protecting it from UVA and UVB rays. Since this is a chemical sunscreen this does not have any white cast but it does have a strong "sunscreen scent" that dissipates throughout the day. I do like that this has much more antioxidants and beneficial ingredients than the average sunscreen does. This is also fragrance free which is a bonus. I would say if you have oily or normal skin this is probably going to be too emollient for you, but those with dry skin will probably have better results. My video review can be seen here:

Treatments (Face) -Paula's Choice -Skin Perfecting 2% BHA Liquid Exfoliant

I've suffered acne for years and this is just.... saviour. the first time i used this, my face looked like the moon with a lot of cystic acne. i tried a lot of products but it was really hard, my face just keep getting angrier at me.

this one really changed everything. after i used this every night, my acne started to disappear. this is probably the only product which is I'm really loyal of: i used this for 6 months and not even on half bottle yet.

after 6 months, people keep saying my face has been cleared, and if i can give all the credits to one product i used: this is it. it makes my face looks wayyyy better. clear, radiant, and the most important thing: less acne. i only get hormonal ones sometimes, but no more cystic. most of my scars also got healed. i really can't tell how glad i am because i tried this one.

don't use it too often though, my face got over exfoliated once because i used it too much. just use it every night or once in 2 days. the price isn't cheap so i recommend to try the trial one since this product probably isn't for everyone. i'll definitely keep repurchasing this, seeing at how much this changed me and how long it lasts, the price is really worth it.

Treatments (Face) -Paula's Choice -Niacinamide Booster

on 6/8/2018 9:31:00 PM

I have been using this for about a month, maybe more, and I have seen zero results. It does have a watery texture which is great when you are layering products so I use this one first. Then I use my C serum (Zo Skin care, which has bleached some melanoma spots), my curology serum (has cured my spots), soolantra (Rx for rosacea) and then moisturizer, It sounds like a lot but those who have said it works have reported smaller pore size and refined skin and I've seen none of that from the niaciniamide. It goes on like water and I'm beginning to think it is water. I am ready to stop using this.

Beautypedia is a great resource for information. Having said that it is always best to look at multiple sources. There are many ingredients that experts can't agree on, or studies show different results. This means that you have to reasarch both sides & make your own decision. Personally I hate that & wish it was easier but what can you do. Even though I don't agree with every review on beautypedia I am happy to have it as one source of information. Also keep in mind that Paula no longer does reviews for beautipedia. Suposedly the reviews are still using the same criteria established by Paula.

Sunscreen -Paula's Choice -RESIST Super-Light Daily Wrinkle Defense SPF 30

I keep finding myself coming back to this moisturiser. It's soothing, even for my sensitive skin, blends in naturally and has a great SPF.

My only complaint is that it really is light, and I usually need to apply a moisturiser underneath.
