Sunscreen -Paula's Choice -RESIST Super-Light Daily Wrinkle Defense SPF 30

This was a light formula & the color worked well for my fair skin, but unfortunately this caused me large white head pimples on my cheek. I did not experience any other irritation. I am thankful I only bought samples!

Lip Treatments -Paula's Choice -Lip & Body Treatment Balm

on 8/12/2018 4:42:00 PM

Another fail from Paula's Choice line of products.

They sent out a newsletter shaming other brands that use jar for their products. Well, Paula's Choice Lip and Body Treatment now belongs to that same category.

They didn't abide with their own standards of not using a jar. They could have formulated this differently but I guess they wanted to please certain crowds that wanted this type of packaging.

Contamination is eminent from using a packaging like this. Obviously, the bias continues with the 5-star expert rating on Beautypedia for this product.

The product is nothing special. It works the same as other balm.

Where is the Truth in Beauty when you slam other products and then do the same thing? Action speaks louder than words.

Treatments (Face) -Paula's Choice -RESIST C15 Super Booster

A product that will make your face shiny and sticky.

I've used 3 bottles of Paula's Choice C15 Booster to give this product a chance to work on my skin but all it did was gave me flesh colored bumps. It seems to have clogged my pores. The clogged pores disappeared after I stopped using this.

I didn't like the way my skin looked with the C15 Booster.

I'm also frustrated with Beautypedia that they didn't mention any negative reviews (there are over 80 negative reviews on Paula's Choice website) - many of them mentioning the sticky and shiny effects.

The problem is, they have no problem calling out on competing products that makes your skin sticky and shiny - even if there's just one person who mentioned it.

There should be no bias in Truth in Beauty.

Treatments (Face) -Paula's Choice -Peptide Booster

on 8/12/2018 2:51:00 PM

An overpriced product that really doesn't do anything.

I've been using this for 3 months and it didn't help with discoloration, skin texture and quality - all of which are supposed to be supported by their peptides.

It gives a shiny, sticky and wet look sheen on the face.

I'm disappointed with how their company has changed - from sarcastic and condescending reviews of competing products to trying to position themselves as a high end brand.

There should be truth in Truth in Beauty.

Treatments (Face) -Paula's Choice -Clinical 1% Retinol Treatment

I feel that within the last couple years she has changed the formulation. It used to dry out my skin a bit at first, with slight irritation, but then my skin would get used to it and look great. It was like it was peeling my skin and I would get a nice cell turn over and it would look clear and brighter.

However, this does feel as powerful as it used to. I thought maybe I was just used to it and it stopped being effective. But I didn't use this for 6 months and repurchased it and it didn't do anything, no slight irritation which to me is a result that its working. It was sooooo greasy, didn't feel like it was working, felt like it was clogging my pores, and actually would make my skin more congested. I know she did something different with the formula-- and it sucks.
