Moisturizers -Paula's Choice -CLINICAL Ceramide Enriched Firming Moisturizer

on 1/22/2018 11:26:00 PM

What an impressive ingridient list!
I have dry/very dry in winter, and if you have dry i think as me you must put another cream on top.
I did not thiink so,but its a waxy lotion type, and lotion isnt so "thick".

Now the problem:The PRICE!

No matter how good ingridients ,its a disgrace for PC too take such a price for a facecream.
So no,i wont buy again, due too the price.
I wont be able too buy it every time its finished so what is the point.
Even Paula herself said on fb she was suprised by the price:that says it all.

Treatments (Face) -Paula's Choice -Clinical 1% Retinol Treatment

on 1/22/2018 9:17:00 PM

I've been using this since it came out, and it's NOT a miracle. But it really does do more for your skin than any other over the counter cream, lotion, or potion that I've ever tried, I have melasma on my face, and the last time I visited my cousin who I hadn't seen in several years, she said "what happened to your face - the spots are ALL gone?" I don't love the container - as some have noted it seemed to "run out" earlier than I expected, so I popped off the ring and pulled out the tube, and there was a bunch left! So now I just cope with that - I'd cut OPEN the tube to get the last bit out; I'm that cheap.

It's on the high end for me price-wise, but I'm pretty cheap so ymmv.

Treatments (Face) -Paula's Choice -Resist Advanced Smoothing Treatment

on 1/22/2018 12:59:00 PM

I bought this exfoliant because it has 10% AHA and BHA. I thought it would have everything my skin needs for exfoliation because the AHA would take care of my dry skin and the BHA would take care of my rosacea's ability to form clogs. But what I'm finding is that neither of the top ingredients seem to work at capacity. And it doesn't give me a glow or anything. But it hasn't caused harm either.

But it was expensive and I only got 1 ounce in a dropper bottle. For around $30. I think I got better results when I applied PC's 2% BHA toner and then 4% AHA foam. And you're probably thinking "Duh." So much for trying to save time. 2-in-1s never work for me.

Treatments (Face) -Paula's Choice -CALM REDNESS RELIEF Repairing Serum

on 1/13/2018 9:38:00 PM

The Paula's Choice Calm Redness Relief Repairing Serum has become a staple in my daily routine. I recently purchased an Illuminage Wrinkle Laser Device and using this five days a week leaves my skin stinging, burning, flaking, and bright red (oh, the things we do for beauty). I'd tried my normal serum as well as several other toners and moisturizers to help try and alleviate these side effects but none really soothed my skin.

I'm very glad to have found this serum. I apply it immediately after I finish my laser treatment and it helps instantly take down the redness and soothe the stinging and it also absorbs quickly so I can get to my other moisturizers and treatments. This has no scent and no denatured alcohol so it is perfect for me to use with my super dry and sensitive skin. If you have red or irritated skin I highly recommend giving this serum a try to see if it can help alleviate your skin issues, too. My more detailed review video can be seen here:

Cleansers -Paula's Choice -CLEAR Pore Normalizing Cleanser

on 1/12/2018 8:38:00 PM

I agree with the reviewer just below me that it's A LITTLE WEIRD that Paula moved from Triclosan (now banned) in this product to .5% salicylic acid. Didn't she always say salicylic acid was pointless in a cleanser, because it doesn't stay on long enough? If there was a word of explanation, I did not catch it. But I just can't give this a negative review. It's a pretty good cleanser for my sensitive, breakout-prone skin. (I was always scared of Triclosan anyhow.) It's a clear, gentle, not-very-foaming gel that manages to be soothing and refreshing at the same time. I don't find it drying, and I prefer the texture to CeraVe's Renewing SA Cleanser. This seems gentler and more suitable for everyday use. (Note: I'm pretty old to be using acne cleansers!)
