Moisturizers -Osmotics -Blue Copper Firming Elasticity Repair

on 1/29/2017 4:48:00 PM

I use this blue peptide-rich cream every other night, alternating with Retin A. It has a cushy gel texture and feels great when you smooth it on. The hyaluronic acid makes this very hydrating and the copper-rich cocktail of ingredients seems to calm the dryness in my cheeks but doesn't really neutralize the redness, so I knocked off a point for that.
$58 for a 1 ounce jar at Nordstrom.

Treatments (Eye) -Osmotics -Blue Copper 5 PRIME eye

on 12/4/2015 10:10:00 AM

The newest eye cream by Osmotics is supposed to address hormonal aging of the eye area, depuff and lighten dark under eye circles and lift and tighten the upper eyelid. For me, it does none of these things. I went through two containers of this product, using it twice a day and notice no change in my over-40 eye area. The consistency is that of a light gel-cream and I do find the eye cream to be moisturizing. It contains lupine and alfalfa proteins, hyaluronic acid, and a host of peptides. The eye cream does not irritate my eyes and absorbs easily into my skin.

Skincare - Face -Osmotics -Hydrating Cleanser

I agree with the other reviewers that if you have rosacea (or even sensitive skin) the citrus will irritate. I've only used once, and perhaps will try one more time as I'm a bit of a glutton for punishment and can't throw anything out! Made my skin red and irritated however I can say it wasn't drying. Also packaging isn't ideal for shower use - should have a flip lid or something for easier use.

Cleansers -Osmotics -Calming Cleansing Milk

on 3/3/2014 2:29:00 AM

I was in New York City for an extended business trip and realized I forgot to bring a facial cleanser. There was a Duane Reade around the corner from the hotel so I went in to check their selection. I didn't want a harsh, cheap cleanser, but I didn't want to spend a fortune either. I saw the Osmotics display and the ingredients in the calming cleansing milk seemed to indicate it would work well for my skin. One of the salesgirls then came up and said that the line wasn't going to be carried by D.R. much longer because it just wasn't selling -- so the cleanser was marked down to $9.95! At that price, I decided to take a gamble.

I ended up really liking the product. It's not a foaming cleanser (which means it doesn't have a detergent type formulation) but it removed all my makeup and left my skin feeling soft and neither dry nor greasy. After seven days of positive results -- no breakouts or clogged pores -- I went to various Duane Reades and picked up five tubes.

I use it daily and follow cleansing with the mild alcohol-free Sisley toner I did remember to bring along. I'm now down to the last two. I'd happily buy this product again, but it isn't carried here.

Cleansers -Osmotics -Blue Copper anti-aging cleansing gelee

on 1/1/2014 2:55:00 AM

I am a firm believer in cosmeceuticals and i have had great results from the blue copper line. I love this cleaner as its so rich and concentrated but yet a gel. A tiny dab gets the job done and its rich foam washes away cleanly leaving no dryness. This is much better than the purity foaming cleanser since I feel this does something more than just clean. I highly recommend this for all skin types.
