Moisturizers -Nourish Organic -Argan Skin Renew

on 3/10/2017 8:18:00 PM

Got this for my mother and the oil "repair" version for myself.
Renew smelled a bit strong to me but my mother fell in love at first whiff. It made her skin all soft and silky like you can't imagine. Repair, on the other hand, has a much more delicate fragrance, but is very thick and slow to sink in the skin thus best used before bed or when I know I won't be leaving home for the next few hours at least. It feels very rich and nourishing on my often over-scrubbed face nonetheless.

Deodorants -Nourish Organic -Organic & Effective Deodorant Cream

on 1/14/2016 1:13:00 AM

This is for the Lavender-Mint deodorant.
First impression: this smells really nice and I like the ingredients. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives stop for me.

To be frank, this deodorant sucks. It doesn’t mask BO longer than an hour and doesn’t seem to absorb nor spread out on the skin. The most annoying part of this deodorant is despite my careful application and giving it ample time to “adhere” to the skin before dressing, it still balls up and pills, and I over the course of the day it rubs off and I’m left with more deodorant cream on my bra and shirt than on my skin, making laundry twice the hassle for me!

You can do much better finding a hippie deodorant than this! Seriously, almost all the others of similar ilk are probably better (and cheaper), Tom’s of Maine, Kiss My Face, Lavinila are a few that come to mind. DIY paste/cream probably aren’t any worse either.

Other than scent and container/packaging, this deodorant FAILS.

Deodorants -Nourish Organic -Nourish Organic WIld Berries Fresh and Dry Deodorant

on 1/10/2015 1:07:00 PM

This deodorant smells delicious but does not help with underarm odor at all. In fact, I found myself quite embarrassed to be wearing this deodorant as an hour after applying it, I was already sweating and I could detect the odor coming from my underarms. I think this product has great ingredients in general, but not enough odor-fighting and wetness-preventing ingredients to qualify this as a deodorant. I would not repurchase this.

Skincare - Body -Nourish Organic -Nourish Organics Body Butter in Wild Berries

on 12/22/2014 11:12:00 AM

This is a delicious shea butter based body butter which goes on smoothly and absorbs quickly into the skin. I like how moisturizing it is without making me feel sticky. This is pretty solid, so you have to dig into it and warm it up with your fingers. The scent really does remind me of berry picking season and perks me up.

Lotions/ Creams -Nourish Organic -Organic - Deeply nourishing coconut & argan body lotion

on 11/29/2014 2:16:00 PM

Smells absolutely horrendous. I bought this for $10 at Target thinking it would smell like coconut. NOPE. Smells like a weird herbal concoction. Also, the consistency is a bit weird too. It's not smooth and moisturizing; it has a thick watery texture.

If you are in Target, pick up the Pacifica Blood Orange body butter. That lotion was so smooth and smelled so heavenly.
