Lotions/ Creams -NIVEA -Skin Firming Lotion

I usually love Nivea products, but this one....not so much. It is a very lightweight lotion and really doesn’t do too much in the cooler/dry months. One thing I was really disappointed with is that it has a very heavy rose scent. I should have looked on the label better, as I wouldn’t have purchased had I known. Not a fan of fragrance in my skin care products. Will go back to their “regular” body lotion...that sent I don’t mind too much.

Lips -NIVEA -Delicious Drop Lip Balm in Peach & Vanilla

on 9/18/2018 6:58:00 AM

I ran out of lip balm and found this one at the drugstore. I've been using it for about three weeks now. It's okay, but not as good as my Burt's Bees. The smell is nice, sweet peach and vanilla. It looks super cute, but it's teardrop shaped instead of the average circle. This made applying it a little messy. I always managed to get it out of my lip line and would have to wipe it of.

I would put it on in the morning, a light layer under my lipstick (which worked okay, but not great) and at night before bed, and of course when my lips felt dry. It goes on smooth, but it almost feels grainy on my lips, which I really don't like. It also doesn't last as long as other lip balms I've used. It didn't really do anything bad to my lips, it's just not as good as others.

I don't think this is worth trying, and I won't be buying it again.

Cleansers -NIVEA -Daily Essentials Sensitive 3-in-1 Micellar Cleansing Water

A completely useless product that doesn't remove makeup well at all. It'll do an okay job of removing light foundation, but everywhere I used concealer/or setted my foundation well stays exactly as it was before.

Lotions/ Creams -NIVEA -Oil in lotion Cherry Blossom and Jojoba Oil

I was very excited to try this product out. Cherry blossom and jojoba oil!! 2 of my favourite smells in one.
The lotion has a pretty watery texture, and, like the description says, it absorbs REALLY quickly.
I really wanted this to be my holy grail, but I guess this didn't moisturize my skin enough. I have cracked legs and I didn't see a difference. But on all the other parts of my body, it did the job.
Would recommend for normal to dry skin, but not "pretty dry" skin.

Cleansers -NIVEA -Gentle Facial Cleansing Wipes Dry/Sensitive Skin

I love these. They don't irritate my skin, don't leave it feeling icky like wet wipes normally do, and actually clean the skin. Regardless of what the package says, they don't actually remove my mascara, but they get all the other make-up I wear. They're more expensive than other face wipes, but they don't irritate my skin, so it's worth it (and, also, Clicks frequently has 3 for 2 promotions on Nivea stuff, so I tend to buy them then and they last a while).
