Total toss product. It's supposed to give you a volumized feel or a piecey look. I got neither just stiff grossness. I tried it wet, damp, and dry, all resulted in gross and grimey hair. The foam shoots out like silly string it's not a traditional expanding foam, vwhich results in major product loss. Going into garbage :(

This is a light conditioner that does add some volume to my fine, dry hair. This contains silicones, silk and amino acid proteins and vitamin B5. However, I do not feel that this offers any conditioning benefits to my hair and actually leaves my hair feeling dryer. What I like much better than this is Matrix Biolage Full-Density Conditioner.

I do not know why this is called a shampoo cream; it is the same consistency as a regular shampoo. This has an odd "root" scent. Has a nice lather. The shampoo claims to be moisturizing for dry, damaged hair. For my fine dry hair, this shampoo left it feeling stripped and squeaky clean.

I buy this again and again. It takes a while to figure out how it works best for your hair and you might hate it in the meantime. I've used it for years because it is effective as a body builder (NOT a hairspray) and does not contain any form of silicone. This is important to me because any product with an ingredient ending in "cone" or "ane" (dimethicone, cyclopentasiloxane, etc.) will weigh my fine hair down QUICK and make it look greasy, limp and creates waxy buildup which breaks the hair shaft. I personally use this product on the front and crown of my head while my hair is still wet. I use a round brush, hold the wet hair straight up, spray generously and blow dry straight up as well. Yes, it makes my hair crunchy and stands straight up. I do the same thing with the next section further back. After this is done, I dry the rest of my hair and come back and brush out the front sections, which now have lift and body. I follow up with Batiste Dry Shampoo all over to make the hair a little "dirty" for styling. (Batiste does not contain silicone either.) This may not be for everyone, but it is the only thing I've found that works for me consistently. I hope they never stop making it and do not change the formula!

I bought a travel sized sample of this after reading some great reviews. This is a pretty good shampoo regardless of whether it thickens or not. My hair is fine, thinning, and color treated, and gets very greasy fast. I have to wash my hair every day or else it is a greasy mess, and even dry shampoos canít do any good when it is at this stage. This shampoo has a faint fragrance, but smells really great and is a pleasure to use. It foams up well and leaves my hair and scalp feeling very clean. It doesnít strip my hair but it cleans better than a lot of shampoos I have tried and doesnít leave my ends frizzy or dry. My hair takes longer to get greasy too, which is a great bonus. After washing my hair on a night, by the afternoon of the next day normally it is looking pretty bad. But this shampoo gives me an extra 3-4 hours before my hair starts looking like it needs a wash. This does give me a little additional volume at the roots, but only if I donít use a conditioner afterwards. I like this shampoo a lot and will buy a full size of this when I run out.
