The Maybelline Company was created by a 19-year-old entrepreneur named Tom Lyle Williams in 1915. Williams noticed his older sister Mabel applying a mixture of Vaseline and coal dust to her eyelashes to give them a darker, fuller look. He adapted it with a chemistry set and produced a product sold locally called lash-in-brow-line. Williams renamed his eye beautifier Maybelline, in honor of his sister Mabel, who gave him the idea. In 1917 the company produced Maybelline Cake Mascara, ""the first modern eye cosmetic for everyday use"" and Ultra Lash in the 1960s, which was the first mass-market automatic

Mascara -Maybelline -Volum' Express The Colossal

on 2/25/2018 10:11:00 AM

So average. Not much added length or volume. Really lacks the "oomph" that I need. Surprisingly, this is one of the most basic mascaras I've tried in a long time.

On the plus side, I found that it doesn't flake or smudge. Nice black color and a smooth, clump-free application.

So overall I thought it was just okay. I didn't love it, and there are too many mascaras out there for me to buy this one again.

Lipstick -Maybelline -Super Stay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick

I bought two of these today thinking I'd try them. The applicator is really nice, great for precision. However, I was so disappointed about the tackiness and wanted to return the lipsticks. But - after about 15 minutes the lipstick dried down and was no longer tacky. I ate a meal and the lipstick didn't budge. Mind you, it wasn't a very oily meal but I've still never had a liquid lipstick stay on like this after eating. These are worth a try but you have to be patient and allow them to dry down.

Mascara -Maybelline -Full 'N Soft Mascara

Finally, a mascara that leaves lashes feeling soft, not crunchy or stiff! “Full ‘n’ Soft” is a true reflection of this mascara and therefore the perfect moniker for this. Add to that the fact that this does not smudge or flake and you have yourself a winner. I only wish this was a tubing formula, then it would be the mascara of my dreams. I don’t often get compliments on my lashes (I have deep set hooded eyes) however, when I use this mascara my lashes reach my brows and I get compliments every time I wear it.

Mascara -Maybelline -Total Temptation

on 2/24/2018 12:04:00 PM

I am surprised by any low reviews of this mascara, but I understand everyone's lashes are different. I have tiny, thin lashes and have tried a lot of drugstore mascaras, and until now my favorite has been L'oreal Voluminous even though it clumps a lot. I got a free sample of Benefit Roller Lash, and I loved it but prefer not to spend that much for mascara.
Total temptation adds length and fullness to my lashes without the clumps. It goes on so smoothly and is easy to build; even after a couple of coats I don't get any clumps, and my lashes are actually noticeable! I also didn't experience any flaking or smudging, even after a long day's wear.
I have sensitive, watery eyes and it doesn't bother them at all. As far as fragrance goes, I only noticed it slightly as I was applying it, and then it was gone.
My Ulta had it for $9.99 and it was buy one, get one half off.
This one is a winner!!!

Mascara -Maybelline -Lash Stiletto

Still looking for that Lancôme définicils dup. This is just okay. The wand I find is not rigid enough, so it wont give you that curve. You must use an eye lash curler to acheive a decent result. And the smell wich is supposed to be roses is horrible.
