Maybelline

The Maybelline Company was created by a 19-year-old entrepreneur named Tom Lyle Williams in 1915. Williams noticed his older sister Mabel applying a mixture of Vaseline and coal dust to her eyelashes to give them a darker, fuller look. He adapted it with a chemistry set and produced a product sold locally called lash-in-brow-line. Williams renamed his eye beautifier Maybelline, in honor of his sister Mabel, who gave him the idea. In 1917 the company produced Maybelline Cake Mascara, ""the first modern eye cosmetic for everyday use"" and Ultra Lash in the 1960s, which was the first mass-market automatic

This is a pretty good concealer for the price. I picked up Medium and Medium/deep which both work really well for my skin tone (one for brightening, one for correcting). The formula is very smooth and easy to blend and dries down to a satin finish on me. The coverage is medium buildable, it does a good job of covering my dark circles and making me look more awake but I find my dark lines do still peak through so I would need a corrector if I wanted to look flawless. I have to set this with a powder otherwise I find it creases really quickly and settles into fine lines, but honestly haven't come across a concealer that hasn't. I've had this concealer for 5 months and I still have so much product left since you only need a small amount.

Brows -Maybelline -Brow Drama Sculpting Brow Mascara

This is not a bad product IF you have thick brows and can find one of the colors that works for you. I used the color, soft brown and it was a decent match since I have my very light brows tinted. Soft brown isn't very dark at all and I have blonde hair. My brows are not very thick and it looked sort of painted on but one of my friends has nice, thick brows and she uses it. Her eyebrows always look amazing. The little ball thing on the end works for her. She uses 2 of them at a time and on one of them she just snipped the ball off of the tip which leaves a nice small, short brush about the same length as the Gimme Brow brush, for the tail end of the brow. It doesn't build the brow much but it does add color and keep them neatly in place all day. I finished the tube but would not repurchase because it just doesn't look that natural on me and my brows are not thick enough, I have to work on them with a pencil to fill them in. My friend with thick brows just outlines with a pencil then swipes it on and it looks great on her. It's readily available in any drugstore for around 5.00-5.50, even less if you catch the sales. There is not much product in it and it only lasted me about a month and I didn't even use it every day, but I did waste a lot wiping it off and trying to make it work.

Mascara -Maybelline -Great Lash Curved Brush

I have the shade "Blackest Black", and I think this is a good everyday mascara! This slim curved brush creates soft/full looking lashes, and really makes them stand out because of how inky/dark the blackest shade is. The formula is more of a wet formula, but dries quickly enough. I have long/full lashes naturally, and I hate how clumpy/spidery very volumizing formulas look on my lashes, so this is perfect for fanned out lashes that still pop. No flaking or smudging, and it's easy to remove at night. Have repurchased and likely will again!

I like this concealer. I use it under my eyes and it does the job nicely. I use 20 and sometimes 25. I wouldn't call it heavy duty. It's light weight, more sheer. Staying power is ok. For the price point, this is a good product.
