Maybelline

The Maybelline Company was created by a 19-year-old entrepreneur named Tom Lyle Williams in 1915. Williams noticed his older sister Mabel applying a mixture of Vaseline and coal dust to her eyelashes to give them a darker, fuller look. He adapted it with a chemistry set and produced a product sold locally called lash-in-brow-line. Williams renamed his eye beautifier Maybelline, in honor of his sister Mabel, who gave him the idea. In 1917 the company produced Maybelline Cake Mascara, ""the first modern eye cosmetic for everyday use"" and Ultra Lash in the 1960s, which was the first mass-market automatic

Eyeliner -Maybelline -Eye Studio Master Precise Ink Pen Liner

I am a big fan of liquid eyeliner.
I was on the hunt for a cheaper alternative; i usually buy Kat Von D's tatto liner or Stila,s stay all day liner.
Bother of them are 25$ +
After some reserach i found this one at my local drugstore for 7$ and i love it! It is as good as the high-end ones...
The tip is very thin, it dries nicely and won't smudge (i have watery eyes...) and stays all day long.
What more could I ask for?!

Pressed Powders -Maybelline -SuperStay Better Skin Skin-Transforming Powder

My skin looks a lot better with this powder on. Somehow it smooths and blurs the complexion. The coverage is sheer to light. It evens out the skin-tone but some redness still peeks through.

So far this hasn't caused breakouts unlike its inferior sister powder Maybelline Matte and Poreless. This one doesn't turn me into an oil slick 3 hours in like matte and poreless or make me look dried out.

The mattifying properties are nice because it helps with oil without making you look powdery and dry. I fall around NC 42 in Mac and use 80 Rich tan which is fine (only a smidge darker than my skin) so I will try pairing it with a lighter version of it for my t zone to have some dimension to my makeup.

I have no complaints, I love the mirror and sturdy packaging (even if its not that elegant looking). I will repurchase in a bunch of shades.

Liquid -Maybelline -FIT Me Foundation (Matte + Poreless)

I have combination and rosacea-prone skin that needs a lot of coverage and my skin tends to get so oily throughout the day. This foundation gives me the right amount of coverage needed to cover up the blemishes on my cheeks and the redness around my nose. I've tried so many foundations, drugstore to high-end and most of them just end up clinging on my dry patches and give me that cake-face look at the end of the day, especially on my forehead and nose, but this one never does that. It goes on so smoothly with or without a primer. One thing that amazes me the most is that this foundation NEVER creases even after 16-hour of wear. The longer it stays on my face, the more it looks natural.

Cons are:
- The packaging. How I wish they came with a pump!!
- If you have oily skin, I suggest you put a really mattifying primer underneath and set it with mattifying translucent powder (I use RCMA or Coty Airspun), bcs this one does get oily real quick.

Concealers -Maybelline -Super Stay 24 Hour Concealer

This isn't a concealer, it's the perfect eyeshadow base! Put a few dots on your eyelid, blend it quickly and set it with a little amount of powder. I used UDPP, MAC Paint Pot, Smashbox Eye Primer, Artdeco Eyeshadow Base, NYX Glitter Glue and nothing has prevented creasing. But with this concealer, it stays for about 12+ hours (usually I wear my makeup not longer than 12 hours) and then there is just a tiny tiny hint of creasing (if you take a mirror that shows your face so close you can see even the finest hairs). Its pigmentation is good enough for covering my uneven eyelid color. I wouldn't use it as a concealer anymore. It oxidizes on my skin plus it's a nightmare for dark, wrinkly or fine lined undereyes. But hey, I found my HG eyeshadow base and there are plenty of other concealer for concealing your blemishes, undereye circles, so it's not a big deal.
