Finally! I finally found THE product that works for my hair!!! Smells like cotton candy but is indeed a weightless oil. Does not leave an oily residue on hands after smoothing into my hair but if you use too much your hair will look greasy even though it won’t feel that way. So glad I read the review written by “ensayles” for tips on applying to your hands and smoothing along hair as opposed to spritzing directly on hair, which is a sure fire way to overdo it and end up looking like a greasy mess. I love how silky soft this makes my hair. I’ve struggled for a long time looking for a product that will soften my hair sufficiently without weighing down my curls. This does what I was hoping the Briogeo Rosarco Milk Reparative Leave-In Treatment would do for me (but did not). My hair is relatively thick and I have a lot of it so it can look big and unruly if not kept under control. Maui Moisture shampoo, conditioner and masks/treatments have helped immensely but this oil mist is the ultimate in softening for me. If you do end up applying too much, leave it in overnight - it is a wonderful pre-wash treatment. Your hair will feel incredible. The first time I used it I applied too much and wore my hair in a braid 4 days in a row before washing again - this worked wonders on my hair. It was as though I had a professional deep hot oil conditioning treatment when I finally washed my hair again. Loving this more than any other hair product.

Super hydrating, heavy moisturizing leave in conditioning treatment. I use about about the size of a tablespoon for my hair which is very thick, wavy/curly and quite long, but I still avoid getting this close to the roots otherwise my hair would take another 24 hours to dry if left natural. Because my hair does not require washing for at least 4-5 days this isn’t that heavy for me but it might be for those with fine hair or prone to oiliness. If you fall into the latter category this might be best used as a conditioning mask that is rinsed out afterward. I love the scent of this product and am happy with it. So glad there is a brand that doesn’t use sulphates, silicones, or alcohol in their products - all which are something I avoid for my hair. My only wish is that it was even more hydrating as I still have to use an oil but that’s the curse of the curl I guess...

I love the smell of this conditioner!!!While researching the Curly Girl method, I stumbled upon a YouTuber who recommended this product. It is sulfate and silicone free, so it fit the bill. I found it easily in Walmart for about $7, which made it cheap and convenient. The conditioner itself is thick and white. The bottle is cute, plus it's a soft plastic that is squeezable for getting out the last bit of product. It leaves my 2b hair moisturized with bouncy curls and waves, but not weighed down. My favorite part is the scent - coconutty, tropical... just heavenly! I look forward to using this in the shower! I also like that it's vegan.Bottom line, love this product! Very happy I found it.

I tried this because it was on sale (just being honest here, nonprofit work does not support my expensive tastes) and didn't expect much. I'm super sensitive to silicone in hair products and have had a particularly difficult time finding a conditioner which is cruelty free, doesn't make my hair feel waxy and gross or dried out, and also doesn't make me break out into a rash. Carole's Daughter has worked really well for me (the Sacred Tiare shampoo and conditioner) but I've had trouble finding it lately and it's about $15 a bottle now. So, my broke ass tried this instead and it works really well. It's kind of hard to get the conditioner out of the bottle without doing the upside-down-ketchup-bottle trick, but otherwise it's great and makes my wavy, thick, color-treated hair feel very soft. This would be way too heavy for fine or thin hair, but if you are looking for something very moisturizing for course or dry hair this is a good one.

Already being a fan of the Maui Moisture Curl Quench & Coconut Oil Curl Smoothie I decided to first do a cleanse to remove the chlorine/salt water and other residue (including sulfates) from my hair (after reading the review by "ensayles") before using this shampoo and I agree wholeheartedly with that review. I have a lot of hair, medium thickness and wavy/curly so it's always hard to get it soft and smooth enough to run fingers through but this shampoo did just that. I seriously considered not using the conditioner after shampooing with this. It produces the richest lather and feels absolutely positively luxurious in my hair. I was sad having to rinse it out. And it smells divine! After first removing the residue and then using this my hair is the softest and shiniest it has ever been. But as the other reviewer mentioned, if you don't have hair that leans toward dry then this will be too much for you. The packaging is nice but hard to get the product out of as it's quite thick. Highly recommend you check out the products this brand has to offer - it is holy grail for me.
