on 2/21/2019 1:41:00 PM

Devoted to chili is a gorgeous shade of orange red. Application is easy one swipe. Hence 2 stars. Formula is severely drying makes my lips peel every time i wear it. In general i find Mac lipsticks super drying but this is awful . Lip balm no help . Maybelline mattes are similar to powder kiss but non drying for me .

Lip Gloss -MAC Cosmetics -Best Teddy Lipglass

on 2/20/2019 5:41:00 AM

MAC's Best Teddy is a lipglass shade released as part of their Monochromatic collection in January 2019. Best Teddy is the lipglass pairing to Velvet Teddy lipstick. MAC describes the shade as a "deeptone beige". On my nw20, rosey brown pigmented lips, deep winter complexion, it is perhaps one of the most perfect neutral lipgloss since the days of my beloved MAC Viva Glam V Lipglass. This lipglass while slightly more beiged than Viva Glam V was on me (and there are no sparkles in Best Teddy, Viva Glam V had some reflects in it). Best Teddy teeters on the edge of nude, mlbb, not too brown, beige, nude or pink lipgloss. It wears as naturally as MAC's Deelight lipglass did (though that is much pink/rose toned, mlbb toned). I was afraid Best Teddy would skew slightly too orange on me because Velvet Teddy can at times, but it stayed in the good place. With some looks it may feel slightly too warm, but usually it falls into neutrality. Unlike the Fenty''s Fenty Glow original gloss, it is not coppered or bronzey...just creamy, beiged rose perfection. On the lips, it gives that lovely MAC Lipglass look and the staying power is remarkable for a gloss. I can wear this to the gym or out on the town. I have worn it daily for a month now, I just went to pick up a back up yesterday. I got the last one from my Ulta, but I know they still have some online.

Lipstick -MAC Cosmetics -Matte Lipstick - Yash

on 2/19/2019 11:22:00 AM

MAC Yash is a light brown neutral with slight peach tones and comes in a matte finish. This color is really the perfect nude, it is one of those colors I can just swipe on if I don't know what to wear. It suits my fair skin well and works as a great MLBB! The price is around 20ish €, a typical price for a high end lipstick and something I don't mind paying for. Staying power is decent and it also has very minimal transfer.

As much as I love the color and just love wearing it in general, Yash is very matte and a bit too drying for my own personal taste. It is easy to apply and does not drag, but I must say I prefer creamier more comfortable mattes (for example Urban Decay's comfort mattes). This is the only reason I wont be repurchasing Yash once I run out. :/ Despite being very matte, it does not surprisingly dry out my lips nor emphasize any lip lines and such.

Blush -MAC Cosmetics -Powder Blush - Stay By Me

on 2/19/2019 6:16:00 AM

So sad this blush has been discontinued :(

Stay by me is a matte very light, almost pastel peach, perfect for very fair skinned folks! This has been my go-to winter shade, when I have been craving for a more peachy look. Blends easily on to skin, decent pigment and overall a really great everyday blush. I can just slap it on and be ready to go!

However if your skin tone is darker than NC15 I would not recommend this blush, as it can easily look too chalky.
