this brush is so dense and silky soft. it feels like I'm using a sponge when i use this. I use this with powder foundation. and its perfect on packing on color and also blending it out beautifully. mac brushes lasts a lifetime and it does not shed at all. the only problem is cleaning. i actually spot clean everytime i use this. great brush will def repurchase

Makeup Brushes -MAC -#286 Duo Fibre Blending Brush

i would repurchase even though i didn't give a 5 hippie rating is due to the fact that its such an unique brush. i am horrible at eyeshadow and packing on too much color. this brush helps me put on darker colors in the outer corners gently and a lot softer than if i was going in with a regular blending brush. the reason i didn't give this 5 lippie is because i don't reach for this enough. Its not a must have brush.

Lipstick -MAC -Viva Glam IV

I have repurchased this lipstick - the first time I had it, it was given to me for my birthday.

I absolutely love everything about it. I love its smell, its staying power, its shade is so complimentary to so many skin tones. It was the first MAC lipstick I owned, nearly four years ago, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Lip Gloss -MAC -Grand Illusion Glossy Liquid Lipcolour

This is my favorite Mac product. People complained about the tingling... it’s a plumper! I put it Lunar Module over Really Me for an icy tone. Plumps my lips more than Too Faced Lip Injection. Which is like $35. Worth it.

Liquid -MAC -Studio Waterweight Foundation SPF30

I really really really wanted to like this product. When I first got this a year ago, the MUA recommended this when I asked for something with light to medium coverage that works for dry skin to replace the more expensive Chanel Vitalumiere.

First, she recommended this to me and in a much lighter shade (I'm NC 25-30 but she insisted that I buy NC20 cos it would brighten my skin). I bought it since it looked ok in the store and she convinced me that this shade is just right for me as it will oxidise as it set. She also said I can layer on if I wish to have more coverage. I tried it on again at home and the shade was just not right so I nv wore it for a full day.

Fast forward one year and I am down to NC25 so I decided to give this another shot. Here're the pros and cons:

Brightens up the skin
Easy application with fingers
Dries quickly if a thin layer is applied
Nice packaging

Slides off the face in a couple of hours despite using loose powder
Did not oxidise so it still made me look super pale
Cystic acne came up after using this for 2 consecutive days (nope, it wasn't Aunt Flo)
Foundation did not sit well with various sunscreens and some pilling occurred
Tried layering but more pilling occurred
Emphasised dryness and enlarged pores when this was applied on drier skin days (isn't this supposed to be for dry skin?!)

Till today, I'm still looking a cheaper alternative to my Vitalumiere. If anyone has any recommendations for moisturising and medium coverage foundations, please ping me.
