Mascara -MAC -Extended Play Gigablack Lash

$19 feels ridiculous for mascara - but I’m telling you, this is fantastic!

One coat is natural, two enhances and three competes with the super lash mascaras on the market.

Only this does.not.budge. Until you take it off. Which is easy with a wipe.

The brush is small - which works perfectly for my gray short lashes. No goop upon application. No flakes or smudges under the eyes.

Great for mature ladies with hooded eyes!!!

Crème -MAC -Mineralize Foundation

The foundation feels very balmy and rich, which should suit the skin on a dry side best. I have combination skin prone to oiliness in the T-zone, and yet I absolutely love the product. It provides a very glowy natural looking finish. The application is quite easy if you use the sponge that comes with the product; worked better than beauty blender or brushes I've tried. I do need to set the foundation well, and I'd still occasionally end up being shiny on the cheeks and forehead, yet I still like the overall effect. The foundation has SPF15 which is quite good too.
If you are on a look out for something more mattifying or with good coverage, skip this one.

Lipstick -MAC -Love Drought

on 8/16/2018 10:50:00 PM

This lipstick came in the MAC Nude Lip Trio. Being the nude lip fanatic I am, I was excited to try this out. Unfortunately, it is a soft, rosy plum with warm undertones and a metallic sheen. I would not describe this as a nude and I feel like the metallicness of it can be unflattering on most people. I will not purchase.

Lipstick -MAC -Retro Matte - Ruby Woo

Ruby Woo definitely the best red lipstick ever!! I have tried other reds from MAC - Relentlessly Red, Lady Danger and Flat Out Fabulous, I still think Ruby Woo is the best!

Comparing to other MAC matte lipstick, Ruby Woo is a bit dry. But it is not that flaky on the lips or give me streaks. It still apply on my lips nicely and stayed on quite long throughout the day. probably need a bit touch up here and there but it is alright.

I am leaning more towards liquid lipstick now, but any shades that i see in red liquid form i can't help but to compare it with Ruby Woo. I stopped buying any red lipstick at the moment but in the future if i am not satisfied with any other red lipstick i would probably go back to buying this color. If there is ever a TOP 5 MAC makeup product must have, this should be in it!

Powder -MAC -Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation

I started using this with my Kat Von D foundation after I ran out of translucent powder and it was awful. It just added weight to my face and after a couple hours with my makeup on it just started to look super cakey. Anyway, one day I was in a hurry and didn’t want to use foundation so I just use the powder by itself and OMG it’s amazing. It actually has nice coverage which is why I think it looks horrible with a full coverage foundation so overall I think is a good product, you just have to know what products work along this one.
