Mascara -MAC -Extended Play - Endlessly Black

Favourite mascara - does not move, flake, smudge and gives beautiful lashes. Can be removed with my normal face wash, no waterproof eye makeup remover needed. The only drawback is the price.

Lip Gloss -MAC -Grand Illusion Glossy Liquid Lipcolour

Like this a lot! I have this in twinkle twink which looks outrageously orange in the tube, but settles down to a warm peachy pink I personally cannot but love. The tingling sensation from it lasts for about 15 minutes in me. Lasts a lot and is hydrating. The consistency is something like a more pigmented lipglass, less runny. I'd really want to purchase some more shades but, alas, it's pricey. The pigmentation is almost opaque, depending on the shade, I guess!

I wanted this shade so much after seeing pictures of it and suddenly wanting to duplicate the look. I bought a bunch of dupes first and tried on all of MAC's lightest nudes and ended up having to get this and Blankety because I just needed the right ones. I would have only had to go back and get them anyway.

I love this look because it's a California girl, early 60s shade. I wore shades like this as a teenager. Now as I'm older It requires outlining with a slightly darker nude shade for the sculpted look. Too dark a liner ruins it, but with no liner, there's no definition. This looks best with a smoky eye, using shadow for eyeliner. I just love this whole look. It's easy to do touchups and it's easy to get different looks, using different shades of liner, or gloss on top.

Mascara -MAC -Extended Play Gigablack Lash

I bought this because of my friend who recommended it to me. She always has really stunning long lashes, and so when I asked her what mascara she used and she told me about this one I immediately went out and bought this. When I first tried it on, I couldn't believe how pretty my lashes look. Now, taking into consideration, I do have naturally long and voluminous lashes, but I was atually asked by three of my friends if I had done eyelash extensions, which to me is a pretty good description of how well it worked on my lashes.

I have since recommended it to other friends and while most of them loved it as much as I do, I do think people with longer and fuller lashes will appreciate more as it doesn't layer that well, so you can't really build up on it as much as you might want to do if you need a little more volume.

Another really good thing is the fact that this mascara won't budge, it never flakes down and ends up under my eyes, and it lasts all day without even the slightest smudge. Also, this looks so beautiful on the lower lashes, so if you like putting mascara on your lower lashes, don't hesitate to buy this, you won't regret it!

Primer/ Corrector -MAC -Matte

MAC just never goes far enough for me. I'm relatively new to MAC (five years) so I don't have that affinity that many seem to, not having grown up with the brand and perhaps using it exclusively at first. If they say matte, it's not matte enough. Long wear, not long wearing enough, relative to other brands and their claims / performance.

This and the MAC Refined Zone are very similar. Very low oil control, very low at prolonging wear, very low at pore filling (Via matte. They don't claim pore filling.) This is very basic in formulation and thus, very basic in function. I couldn't find a noticeable difference, side by side with a control after a few hours. May be beneficial in that this is fast drying and can be applied over makeup more easily, but for the money, just blot and powder.
