BB Cream -MAC -Prep + Prime BB Beauty Balm SPF 35

I have fairly good skin so the mac bb cream worked great for me. It worked like a light coverage foundation but more coverage than a tinted moisturizer. Good for dry skin, I wouldn't recommend it for oily. Basically your flaws show through but a bit airbrushed and evened out if that makes sense. This product makes my already good skin look so much better. Not flawless but still natural beautiful. Much better to use your fingers to apply this product. I found the beauty blender sheared it out too much. If you have a lot you want to cover, than this product probably isn't for you. When I want absolutely flawless skin , my eyeshadow and rest of makeup is all decked out, then I reach for my favorite foundation which is not from Mac.. The Mac bb cream is a good product, it depends on how much coverage you want and how good your skin is from the start. This was on sale for 19 dollars at Norstrom so I bought it to see if it would replace my favorite foundation. It didn't replace it but I definitely don't regret the purchase. . I personally won't buy it again unless I can get it for the same price I paid. I marked I would buy it again but because it truly is a good product. However, for me, at full price I just would rather invest the money into buying another bottle of my favorite foundation. I suggest you ask for a sample at your local Mac counter before making a purchase.

Lipstick -MAC -Velvet Teddy

I tried this shade on in the MAC store and really liked it, but when I took it home and put it on, something felt . . . off about the color. I think it morphed into a strictly warm beige on me and the pink got lost. That being said, just because I fumbled on the color doesn't mean it isn't a good product! MAC's mattes are actually quite comfortable (the retro mattes are a different story) and this glides onto my lips nicely. The good thing about this shade is particular is that you can get it in a mini, so if you're like me and end up not caring for the color, at least you're not wasting a full tube!

Lipstick -MAC -Retro Matte - Ruby Woo

This baby right here is the holy grail of red lipsticks. The perfect blue-toned red that pops, no matter your skin color. I try to wear it sparingly just because it's such a statement color and I stick to pinks and mauves for my daily lip color, but every so often, I whip this out and feel like a million bucks wearing it.

The only downside to it is that it's tricky to work with, due to the formula being so matte. I'd recommend a good, moisturizing lip balm or primer underneath it and a lip liner as well. This stuff will feather if you're not careful.

Blush -MAC -Powder Blush - Blushbaby

Recieved this as a gift from a good friend a while ago and I surprisingly love this blush. At first it didn’t pick up much colour on my brush and I think it wasn’t as easy to blend as I expected though I got used to the formula. The colour is beautiful and it sheers out onto the skin and compliments my colouring, features and pale skintone well. It creates a natural flush I enjoy and steals the show in pictures. I can imagine this would work with most if not all looks. I wore this for maybe two hours and it lasted. With a more heavy hand, I’m sure one could turn this from natural and daytime appropriate to intense and eye catching for the night.

This product is amazing as a primer before makeup application. I have combo skin which can be very dry but can also become oily and acne prone. A total nightmare! No matter the condition of my skin this product works! It is hydrating and moisturizing, smoothing and provides the skin with a beautiful glow. Makeup application is improved 100% after using this. I would suggest letting it sit and absorb for 5 minutes or so before makeup application for best results.
