Eye Shadow -MAC Cosmetics -Satin - Haux

on 10/19/2018 8:07:00 PM

Ive been searching for ud naked 3 nooner and stumbled upon haux. It looks very rosey in the pan but on the lid pairing this with sable its a perfect duo. It looks very sophisticated but not trying top hard. Soft and pretty. Wonderful shade that blends well.

Eye Shadow -MAC Cosmetics -Frost - Satin Taupe

on 10/19/2018 7:55:00 PM

ok so back in high school which was many years ago i remember hearing so much hype about this shadow and bit the bullet. I was so excited about it and tried it all over the lids and i absolutely HATED it. It leans very purple and gave me a weird black eyed look.

fast forward to now about 8 years later i fell in love with the infamous satin taupe. I gave it another chance and now (i am better at makeup) i pair it with patina on the lid and this in the outter half of my lids and its beautiful. Its one of my favorite combos along side with sable and haux.

Eye Shadow -MAC Cosmetics -Frost - Sable

I was on the hunt for a naked 3 palette dupes for the last couple of shades starting with nooner. I saw on a blog post that haux, sable, twinks and satin taupe were the dupes so i made my own palette.
(Though i do use patina and satin taupe more often together.)

I pair sable with haux together for a natural rose brown look, its very soft n sophisticated.
It blends beautifully and not too frosty (even though it is a frost finish)
Its not too dark nor light, its a perfect brown with shimmer that leans a bit rose and warm.
Its similar to satin taupe but less grey and less purple.
Both are my staples because these all work well together! i do love mac frost and satin finishes.
i will be repurchasing sable.

Eye Shadow -MAC Cosmetics -Dazzleshadow Liquid - Not Afraid to Sparkle

on 10/19/2018 12:03:00 PM

I love Stila Glitter and Glow and Shimmer and Glow shadows and was excited that MAC was coming out with a similar product. I decided to try Not Afraid to Sparkle, because I'm a 40-something woman who can't get enough sparkle (hey--don't judge me).

This is very sheer with lots of glitter--it's indeed very sparkly. You can barely see the beige base after applying it, but whoa *the glitter*! There's a lot of multicolored glitter in there. Using the doe-foot applicator, it's not easy to get an even layer. My lids were quite sparkly, as I expected.

Where this really fell flat on me, though, is that after two hours, it was a glittery crease on my lids, even though I wore it over a primer and a powder shadow. Usually that's enough to keep a liquid shadow in place for at least 4-5 hours. The glitter layer that I'd so carefully applied a few hours earlier was just a sad glittery line in my crease. Nice try, MAC.

Eyeliner -MAC Cosmetics -Fluidline Eye-Liner Gel in Blacktrack

on 10/18/2018 4:55:00 PM

- creamy
- very black and its matte
- easy to apply with a right brush
- a lot of product

-can be patchy
-needs layering a couple times to get intense color

the reason i wouldn't repurchase is because i think pen type liner are easier to use but for now i am not mad at it. I will cont to use this till i run out and decide if i will repurchase or not.
