Blush -MAC -Matte Blush - Blunt

on 2/22/2018 8:06:00 PM

It's not blush, it's not contour...

It's BLU-NTOUR! Hahahaha I kill myself!

Anyways, to repeat what many a previous reviewer has said, I TOO purchased Blunt in my search for a contour for my roundish nc40 face.

Yes it's warm, you can easily tell it has a reddish undertone. I quickly shelved blunt for that very reason as I too was searching for something cooler to contour with. A couple years go by (out of sight out of mind is right!) and contouring is no longer my jam. It makes me look dirty, it affects the way my blush and highlight look and adding another layer makes even the lightest look, look heavy.

Enter the term many of us know: BRON-TOUR, which is using bronzer as a contour. If one could use bronzer, then one can use blush, yes? YES! Blunt's warmness and rich brown tones lend just the right shade, color and warmth. The depth can really be made to look spectacular with a gold highlight above or below an application of blunt (that's my golden goddess look BTW, with MAC woodwinked on my eyes).

In all my collection, I have nothing like it, not even an eye shadow equivalent. I would absolutely repurchase!

Palettes -MAC -In The Flesh

I have 4 of the MAC X15 palettes and I love them. I managed not to have any of the colors in this palette except carbon which was good. $65 makes the eyeshadows $4.30 so that’s a steal u can’t barely buy DS e/s for that. They are easily blended & very little fall out some good pale shades you can do a lot of looks w this but I like wearing just 1 e/s at once somexs & there are quite a few options there. I know $65 seems like a huge initial investment capital but you get 15 eyeshadows!! MAC eyeshadows! Ehh which are $16 for a single in packaging & $6 if you make your own palette (& buy the palette besides) making it a fabulous deal on a high quality eyeshadow product. #winning

Eye Shadow -MAC -Satin - Soba

Fantastic one wash colour. I bought this after seeing the YouTubed The Anna Edit rave about it and I’m glad I did. I have dark brown hair and pale skin and this flatters my dark brown eyes.

Lipstick -MAC -Cremesheen - Shy Girl

on 2/22/2018 7:39:00 AM

Shy Girl is a lovely shade of peachy-nude lipstick with a cremesheen finish. It does have a pearlescent quality with very fine shimmer laced in the lipstick but this is not prominent on the lips, it just emphasises the glossy finish of the shade. I do find this shade to be a little more sheer than my over MAC cremesheed shades however, though it does looks glossy and natural on the lips. I believe this shade would suit a wide variety of skin tones, particularly fair and warm tones. It looks very natural and work-appropriate. It is definitely a shade to pull out when you want to look put-together but not overly made up. This wears nicely for around 5 hours on the lips. It doesn’t bleed or feather, though it does sink into liplines a little bit once it has been on for a while. It will need to be reapplied after eating or drinking. It layers easily without looking cakey. It is a lovely everyday shade and I would definitely recommend it.

Concealers -MAC -Pro Longwear Concealer

on 2/22/2018 5:33:00 AM

My HG concealer, went true numerous bottles and it’s one of the few products I repurchase. I have dry skin never thought it would work but it does, just keep your skin moisturized. Good coverage, great color range (I use NC25) does not irritate my eczema sensitive skin and doesn’t settle in fine lines.
