Lipstick -MAC -Nada

I decided to sign up on Makeup Alley after looking up this lipstick from MAC. I hadn't ever tried it and stored it for whatever reason but once I saw the reviews I was stoked! To try it and I love it! I guess I want to thank this site and all of you for your reviews because I'm excited to join the community. So enough rambling... I love the way this lipstick can stand alone for a lustre shine while also top shades that stand out! I think that it would work for almost every skin tone, with or without lip-liner, and it has lasting power.

The texture is very soft and the pigmentation is awesome. Not much fallout either.

Lipstick -MAC -Cremesheen - Fanfare

I’m between fair and tan, it changes depending on the day, location, my mood (it’s weird, i know), but this colour seems to always just match me. Almost like it’s adjusting to me.
This is my first MAC lipstick, and I’m so lucky to have found the perfect colour for my skin. Will definitely repurchase.
I tend to have dry lips, so I’d usually apply lip balm -> sunscreen -> wait a while, then lipstick. It may not be the best idea nor it’s long lasting, but I’ll just re-apply it throughout the day if needed.

Lipstick -MAC -Patentpolish in Pleasant

on 11/16/2017 6:42:00 PM

Like the previous reviewer, I picked this up as my MAC Select anniversary gift. I was torn between this shade or Ruby but as they were sold out of Ruby, I chose Pleasant (dilemma solved). This is an interesting product. It's not really a lipstick nor is it a gloss (it's not sticky/thick like MAC Lipglass, for example). It delivers a nice, natural hit of "MLBB" colour and the format is nice since I can swipe this on without a mirror, much as I'd do with a lip balm. With "chapped lip" weather approaching, it's nice to have that option. The price for this was excellent but I'm not sure if I'd actually buy it at full price - $20 here in Canada.

Lipstick -MAC -Viva Glam V

I'm torn about this. I love love love the color. It's so flattering and easy to wear. But the formula for me is too dry. It lasts about 5 minutes on my lips, looking perfect. Then it becomes a chalky dry mess accenting every scrap of dry skin. Then it literally vanishes within 15 minutes! I don't know where it goes. I'm not drinking a beverage or anything. It just soaks into my lips and leaves them very dry. I really wish I could wear this but I can't. Anyone know of a similar shade with a more creamy formula?
