Eye Shadow -MAC -Veluxe Pearl - All That Glitters

I have tanned Asian NC44 skin and find this to be an excellent neutral high shine brow highlighter.

I use it daily as it’s blendable, buildable and very natural looking highlighter under my brow. Unfortunately I haven’t found any other uses for it yet, but it’s the only brow highlighter I use out of 10 Mac ones I bought online.

Lipstick -MAC -Retro Matte Liquid Lipcolour

I've been using this now and then for over a year now. I finally accepted that I hate this formula. It was expensive and I waited on a list to buy it, so I wanted to like it. I also love the color. But it is so hard to use, drying, and also is a complete disaster if you try to eat with it. You have to monitor yourself constantly to make sure it hasn't gotten weird. The MAC velvetease lip crayons are 10 times better, and they gave you the same saturated color.

Lipstick -MAC -Pretty Boy

Pretty Boy is described by MAC as being an intense pink coral, but against my NC15 complexion, it is more of a poppy red/coral shade. It has a creme sheen finish, meaning it looks creamy and glossy on the lips. It is quite sheer however, but can be layered with multiple coats without becoming heavy or cakey. It applies easily, it has good slip without being too soft. It doesn’t sink into liplines or bleed throughout the day. It lasts well on the lips, lasting around 6 hours on me with only slight fading. It isn’t drying at all. I think it would suit most warm complexions. I like this shade a lot, it is very versatile - adding a pop of colour without being too bright. It is suitable for a work environment. It is very good at brightening up the face and I do recommend it.

Eye Shadow -MAC -Matte - Embark

True, MAC does not have easy to blend eyeshadows in their classic matte formula. But I don't buy this for the formula. I buy it for the undertone and depth. It is the richest dark red brown that doesn't pull grey or purple on me. And I haven't found a dark brown I like more yet. Not a single one. And at $6... Its very reasonably priced. Staple forever.

Pressed Powders -MAC -Blot Powder

on 11/23/2017 4:55:00 PM

I’m NC20 olive and wear shade Light. I prefer the lightest shade as I see it as a translucent product; it disappears into my skin after a few minutes of wear.

I set my foundation or sunscreen with Make Up For Ever Ultra HD loose powder and carry Blot in my purse to keep oil at bay. I always Blot with a blotting tissue first, then apply a dusting of Blot powder. I think it’s a really effective powder that instantly refreshes my face.

I have sensitive eyes and find that it doesn’t irritate my eyes at all when applied on the lids.

I am giving four stars as it is not as finely milled as I’d expect a 5 star product to be.
