Lipstick -LipSense -Lipsense Color

I was leery about trying lipsense because i had heard a couple bad reviews. To my surprise i love it! It really does stay on all day long. A tip i received was to gloss before eating and that will prevent it from coming off. Ive bought several colors and love them all. The only downfall is that the application process takes a little longer than just applying a coat of a regular lipstick or gloss, but to me its worth it because its not going anywhere the rest of the day.

Lip Gloss -LipSense -Moisturizing Gloss in Prism

on 5/2/2018 2:13:00 PM

LipSense is an MLM that my cousin started selling in 2017, so to humor her I caved and bought a few glosses (I do not like the actual lipstick - Lipsense - and find it too drying). That said, the company (Senegence) makes a ton of lip glosses to apply over their lipstick, but I wear Prism on it's own (very "disco" rainbow micro glitter) or over "regular" lipsticks. I can see this being a bit too flashy for the corporate world, but for a party or a younger crowd (my 14 year old loves it) it's fine. Very interesting gloss and worth a try.

I really like the feel - not to thick or stick, not watery, not gloopy.
Very moisturizing and a good gloss.
For $22? Way overpriced but if you search ebay or FaceBook there are scores of lipsense ladies going out of business all the time so you can get them very cheap - so far the cheapest I have paid is $14 - plus tax/shipping, compared with $20 plus tax, shipping and HANDLING by Senegence.

Find yourself a GOOB (Going out of Biz) lipsense lady and try Prism.

That said, the company (Senegence) makes a tone of very subtle lip glosses to apply over their lipstick, but I wear orchid on it's own (very subtle purpley-pink tint) or over "regular" lipsticks.

I also like some of the others and will review.

Lips -LipSense -Sports Balm

This $20 lip balm is very average. Luckily, I was able to snap a tube for $14 (including shipping) from a Senegence/Lipsense lady who was going out of business. It's fine - petrolatum based, average, unscented, tube-squeezed, lip balm. Does it work? Yes. Do I like it? Yes? Would I spend $20 on it? No way.

Lip Gloss -LipSense -Glossy Gloss

LipSense (Senegence) products are an MLM company. So they retail for higher than they should so that the consultant (your friend, cousin, neighbor) who sells it can pocket their 20 - 25% discount.

That said, I caved and got the $20 Orchid Gloss. It is perfectly fine - so flavor (thank goodness no mint or menthol), a slightly "chemical" scent - loaded with 'cones and synthetic beeswax (really, fake beeswax? Is natural beeswax really that cost prohibitive?)plus Vitamin E and Shea butter.

It's a perfectly average gloss - not super thick, not too thin, sticky but not ridiculously so. Very shiny. A super pale purpley-pink (Orchid) tint. Please note, I do not wear the actual lipsense lip color, as the high amount of alchol and volatile solvents irritate the hell outta my lips. But the gloss? It's fine. It is worth $20? Nope.

Update: I was able to buy the "Opal" gloss for $12 ($14 after shipping) from a Senegense/Lipsense lady online who was going out of business. For $14 this is great. Not worth $20. I also tried - for full price - $22 plus tax and shipping - the new "Prism" gloss and it is a dense multi-colored glitter with a bit of a holo effect. I little too "disco ball" for me. Wish I had gotten it cheaper.

These glosses are not worth $20 - $22. For $15 or less? YES!
