Lotions/ Creams -Lavera -Lavera Basis Hand Cream

Meh...feels a bit sticky and then just feels like nothing, and no moisturising either. Also alcohol is the 4th ingredient which makes no sense, it doesn’t belong in a product marketed to sensitive skin! I got this on a sale along with the lip balm(equally useless) so I am happy I didn’t pay a full price but I am left with another product I don’t really wanna use

Liquid -Lavera -Natural Liquid Foundation

on 11/25/2017 6:09:00 PM

I was looking for a “healthy” foundation without additives and so and I have found this one. In Germany It costs around 8 euros and so I got it enthusiastically. Unfortunately it really doesn’t fit with my combination skin and the coverage is not the best. But it looks very natural, it makes the skin glow a bit and it is also a good moisturiser. The big issue is that it took two weeks to understand how to apply it! I see that I am not the only one with this problem. Not even the blender works in my case but I finally solved the problem using a primer (Bare Minerals Prime Time) and applying Lavera foundation immediately after it, when the primer is not dry and absorbed by the skin.

Concealers -Lavera -Concealer

Not a bad product in the sense that it was easy to apply, caused no reaction for my skin and I like the brand generally But unfortunately, this product is not pigmented enough to conceal dark circles or blemishes. I would compare the coverage to a foundation. It might cover a little bit of redness but is fairly ineffective.

I think this retails for around £10 which is probably fair for a natural, vegan-friendly brand but still I think if you want this level of coverage ie. very light, foundation might be better value for money,

Eyeliner -Lavera -Eye Liner Beeswax & Palm Oil

I have so many pencil eyeliners, but recently my eye sensitivity means that I have had to look for alternatives that wouldn't irritate. Lavera and Dr. Hauschka are both great, but Lavera is significantly cheaper and the quality is just as good. I've been loving the 'Soft eyeliner pencil' in Brown. Its quite a warm toned chocolate shade, that smudges easily and is fairly long lasting.

Mascara -Lavera -Volume Mascara

I have naturally long, but sparse lashes so have tried a lot of volumizing mascaras over the years, recently however my eyes have become sensitive to a lot of the brands (drugstore and high end) I previously liked. I tried several different organic/natural ranges, but found this Lavera mascara to be the best. It is a great intense black, doesn't smudge, wand is easy to apply and unoffensive scent, most importantly no irritated eyes! The major downside is I find it quite a 'wet' formula and that means it seems to take a few minutes to dry and makes a massive mess when removing!
