Foundations -L'Oreal -True Match Lumi Cushion Foundation

I really like this foundation. I have dry skin and this works well for me. It's so lightweight on the skin, with a light-medium coverage. The finish is dewy. Makes you look fresh and radiant, and doesn't settle into fine lines nor accentuate texture. It didn't run out that fast for me, I found that one product lasted a few months. I would repurchase this. The only con is the price, which is kind of up there for drugstore.

Not volumizing, lengthening nor curling. Makes your lashes stick together. The flexible wand is useless.

Shampoo -L'Oreal -EverPure 6-in-1 Cleansing Balm

Basically this is the shampoo I use every single day..my hair is medium length and fine, I like that it is silicone free, and the smell is great...it is great for coloured hair, the only issue is when you get to the 25% left of the product, the pump doesn't seem to get it out..really loving this...now, I always use conditioner so not sure how it does on its own.,but for the price, this is a gentle cleansing..without lots of ingredients that don't do much for your hair .

Cleansers -L'Oreal -Fine Flowers Cleansing Cream

on 3/15/2018 7:27:00 PM

Very impressed with this new cleansing cream. I have very dry skin and wear makeup and sunscreen, so I usually double cleanse first with a cream or oil and then with a milk or a non-soap foaming cleanser. This cream is thick and somewhat stiff. Just a small bit will do to spread over the face. It feels like a moisturizing cream, and first time I used it, I had to check to make sure that I hadn't bought the wrong thing.

Then as you massage it on the face, it turns into a slick feeling, almost like a gel. This is just what I'm looking for in a cleanser, because it means it will wash off easily while breaking everything down. And it did! I used a muslin as normal and it came right off. My skin felt so clean and fresh, I decided to skip to second cleanser and to check out how well it worked with a toner from the same line that I've been using for awhile and really enjoy. Not a stitch of makeup on the cotton pad and my skin didn't feel dry or stripped at all.

It's as good as high end brands I've tried and everything in between. It has a light, slightly rose scent as does the toner. Not heavily perfumed, just botanical and fresh. For the price, I really like it and will definitely repurchase. Great for taking off makeup as the first step if you have oilier skin and wish to use a gel cleanser after. But since it didn't leave any residue, it might be all that is needed for every skin type.

Mascara -L'Oreal -Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara

on 3/15/2018 7:16:00 AM

Best darn mascara at the drugstore, imo. I stopped buying my beloved Lorac Pro at $23 a tube, because this works nearly as well for $8.99 a tube. I get long, voluminous lashes that do not flake nor smudge. It washes off easily. I do not suffer eyelash loss from this formula, unlike many other mascara brands. It’s easy to find. I love the brush! Full and coats my lashes well. The only gripe that I have is that I do need to wipe off the tube after I use it. Small price to pay for this little gem.
