Mascara -L'Oreal -Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara

on 12/12/2017 11:06:00 AM

Great quality, and does everything a mascara should (separates, lengthens, curls, lasts, volumizes). It can build up from natural to glam and is even a bit better than the Better Than Sex Mascara by Too Faced. Thumbs up!

Mascara -L'Oreal -Miss Baby Roll

on 12/12/2017 11:02:00 AM

Lengthening, volumizing, long-lasting, separating, and slightly curling. Everything I need in a mascara. Easy to remove with makeup remover, but I don't have the waterproof version, yet I can weep all I want while wearing it and it won't run at all! All-time favorite.

Powder -L'Oreal -True Match Super-Blendable Compact Makeup in Soft Sable

on 12/12/2017 6:20:00 AM

I haven't tried that many powders so I still reserve my definitive judgment but so far, I like it. It's finely milled, the color match is good and it keeps the oil at bay for some time. I live in a very humid region so makeup longevity is an issue but this really helps.
I love the compact packaging, easy to sneak in a clutch.
Money well spent

Lipstick -L'Oreal -Privee collection - Julianne's nude

on 12/11/2017 10:48:00 PM

Finding a good nude lipstick is tricky for me. Anything with beige makes me look corpse-like. Light pinks wash me out. I picked this one up based solely on the fact that I'm a cool-toned redhead like Julianne Moore, and while it looks slightly darker in the tube than on my lips, I ended up really liking it. It's a good day-to-day lipstick, and you can layer on the color as needed -- going more sheer for a nude look has worked better for me than fully-pigmented liquid lipstick. I wouldn't say it's my "perfect nude," but it gets the job done.

Moisturizers -L'Oreal -Hydra Genius (Normal/Dry Skin)

on 12/11/2017 8:01:00 PM

This product will ball up and peel off your skin if you try to layer it because one layer is not enough for Canadian winters. Also, it made my hydrating foundation look powdery and emphasized my pores. Primer didn't help. Also, the fragrance lingers until the next morning - it is that strong!
