Concealers -L'Oreal -Visible Lift CC Eye Concealer

on 7/16/2018 2:56:00 PM

I have been using this as an under-eye concealer for years and it works great...buildable coverage, brightens, almost no creasing, definitely no settling or separating, and it has spf in it. Im not big on the packaging. I recommend this product for sure though.

Info from online:
Color and tone correction in one multi-action makeup. This weightless, nourishing formula intensely hydrates skin without feeling heavy or greasy. It contains sheer color capsules to correct and even skin tone for a brighter complexion, plus it’s infused with Vitamin C & Calcium for visibly age-correction actions:

1. Reduces the look of dark spots
2. Evens and corrects skin tone
3. Brightens complexion
4. Nourishes skin
5. Protects with SPF 20

Liquid -L'Oreal -Infallible Pro-Matte 24HR Foundation

on 7/15/2018 8:56:00 PM

I tried this foundation when it came out but I think they have changed the formula. The foundation looked patchy and did not blend well before. It is much better now. I wear 104 which is a good match for my NC30 skin. It stays on. It could be a bit drying but a good moisturizer takes care of this problem. L’Oreal is a great company. It is the mother company to companies like Lancôme. I like this foundation better than the 24 hours Lancôme version. I highly recommend this!

Lipstick -L'Oreal -Colour Riche Lipstick

The Colour Riche formula has been around for a long time, and I find it to last pretty well and be comfortable. The shade range is pretty nice, especially if you want basic kind of colors. Of course, there is the smell, which may be the most divisive point for this product; I personally love it, but I know some people straight-up hate it. I have several shades, and I will continue to use them. I do find the packaging to be very dated, but otherwise this is a solid lineup from the drugstore that has some gems that should not be overlooked, particularly Volcanic, Fairest Nude, Blazing Lava, and Everbloom.

Blush -L'Oreal -Paris True Match Super-Blendable Blush

These blushes aren't terrible, but they aren't phenomenal either. For the major drugstore brands they aren't bad at all, but there's nothing that makes them special. The packaging is ugly and bulky, but you do get a massive pan inside that should las for a long time. I think that if you're new to blush or makeup in general these might be a nice way to ease yourself in, especially since you can choose the shades that go best with your undertones, but there are other, better blushes out there that offer something more interesting.

Mascara -L'Oreal -Voluminous Primer

I don't think this is a HG for me, but it is a decent primer. It gives a little extra length and thickness, which makes it worth the effort. I apply mascara while the primer is still wet, doing one eye at a time, and that gives the best results. If you let it dry then apply mascara it becomes a flaky, clumpy mess. The brush is the standard Volumious brush and it applies an even coat of the primer to the lashes. I think my search for my ultimate lash primer will continue, but I will use up what I have with this one.
