Mascara -L'Oreal Paris -Voluminous Lash Paradise Mascara

on 11/21/2018 1:21:00 PM

Like the formula, HATE the wand and the price. All the problems with this mascara can be traced back to the wand, which comes out limp, soggy and sodden with product every time. You wouldn't believe the amount of product that needs to be wiped off on a tissue before this will apply without clumps. After blotting, it's a lovely mascara, nice and soft and feathery, and it lasts through the day without melting, which is fantastic.

Now let's consider the economics. Until now, I have never, ever, not once in my life EVER managed to finish even a sample size mascara before the six month expiration date. Due to the aggressive blotting required to make this usable, I finished this mascara in one month. That's insane. That means that at $10 a pop, a year's supply of Lash Paradise would cost me $120, as opposed to $20 for two mid-end sample mascaras. That's 600% more money... for a drugstore mascara that doesn't perform any better and has a really annoying wand. I'm no mathematician but you'd have an easier time selling me a bridge than trying to get me to take that deal.

Lips -L'Oreal Paris -Paris Infallible Pro-Matte Liquid Lipstick

on 11/20/2018 2:12:00 PM

I have to agree with the other reviewers who said the applicator is odd.. it's a bit large unless you have really big lips.. so you can't really use it to just swipe like you would something a tad smaller .. also if you go for a darker or deep shade you wanna make sure you putting it on with your mouth open so you can get the corners and inner edges so you don't get that odd white lip clown looking thing going on. when you talk or smile.. that really goes for any dark or bright shade lipstick.. anyhow! I had bought myself cowboy awhile back and the shade did absolutely nothing for me,, I picked up Matador last night because I do like a nice red lip in the cooler weather and it's a great shade that I think would work for a variety of skin tones.. it goes on smoothly aside from the big applicator thing,, doesn't pill which is HUGE for me I can't stand the feeling of balled up lipstick on my lips.. , doesn't fade ,, even after lunch really only the very center was slightly rubbed off.. I did get some on my hands when I had my hand resting on my face but that was my own dumbness.. I would buy more of this line if they had some colors that worked better for my coloring,, I don't like being washed out but I don't like looking like a circus freak either..lol I do slap some gloss over it simply because i'm addicted to feeling slick lips when I rub them together but it isn't drying on it's own..

Cleansers -L'Oreal Paris -Micellar Cleansing Water Complete Cleanser - Normal to Dry Skin

on 11/19/2018 2:53:00 PM

Yes, i've already repurchased, this is a wonderful micellar water and takes off all my makeup including mascara with no hassle at all.

It has no fragrance, does not sting my eyes, is well priced and has sensible packaging. I would not bother buying any other brand now - I have tried Bioderma and this is better in my opinion, I have also tried Garniers various incarnations including their oil infused variety and this still beats it hands down.

I don't know what the versions are like for other skin types but i'll be sticking to this one as there is no need to stray when this works so well. If you are looking for an affordable micellar water/eye makeup remover then you will not be disappointed.

Lipstick -L'Oreal Paris -Infallible Pro-Last Lipcolor (All Colors)

on 11/19/2018 1:18:00 PM

I love this stuff. I have Everlasting Caramel and the Nutmeg one. This is pretty much like every other 2-step lipstick I’ve owned, but the formula is the longest-lasting I’ve ever tried. Unless you use oil to remove it at night, you will wake up with your lipstick still on and still perfect. Many of the other reviewers here are complaining about the product flaking off; however, that has never once happened to me. I apply it as directed, let it dry completely for a few minutes, then apply the balm, and only reapply the balm. And when I apply the colour, I do so very carefully: it needs to be applied thinly, quickly, and in one motion. It’s like paint, not like gloss. This is one of those amazing products that does exactly what it claims; unfortunately some people may be using it incorrectly and having less than optimal results. My one complaint about this product is the colour range. The colours are kind of meh, and some are shimmery in a not-cute way.

Mascara -L'Oreal Paris -Voluminous Mascara - Carbon Black

on 11/19/2018 1:44:00 AM

This mascara adds lush volume-and then flaked repeatedly during the day under my eyes. I kept wiping the flakes off and removing my foundation/under eye concealer along with it. The mascara is extremely black and gives thick lashes-but the flakiness is not worth it to me. Too bad-I liked the look of my lashes while it was actually on.
