Foundations -L'Oreal -Infallible Pro-Glow 24HR Foundation

on 3/20/2018 4:51:00 AM

I have Fair Normal skin.

The finish is really good, compared to what I've usually been using (Revlon ColourStay Normal/Dry in Ivory/Porcelain). Which can cling to pores and make it look like I have white "spots" all over my cheeks. Staying power is pretty good.

I've only worn this twice. Now I have a pimple on each cheek. I had this happen with the L'Oreal Lumi Magique Primer.
Wore it on Sunday night and last night (Monday) I noticed a red bump on my right cheek. Today (Tuesday) another one on my LEFT cheek.

What is in both of these products that would cause me to break out?? I'm not usually prone to facial acne!

If it weren't for this I would totally rate this product higher.

BB Cream -L'Oreal -Magic Skin Beautifier BB Cream

I bought the lightest of the L'Oreal bb cream and found it to be white and chaulky, very dry.
I tried another shade - same, it comes out white, chaulky and dry - I had the impression the BB creams weren't heavy foundation and this product is just like that, a heavy, cakey foundation.

Mascara -L'Oreal -Voluminous Primer

This is a great drugstore primer. You can find it for about $6-7 CDN on sale at sdm or superstore or Walmart. It applies well but my only issue is too much product comes out when you take the brush out of the tube. So you either have to wipe it off on the rim of the tube which sucks or wipe on a tissue which wastes product. It seperates my lashes well and defines them and makes any mascara look better.

Mascara -L'Oreal -Voluminous in Carbon Black

Where do I begin with this utter disappointment of a mascara. After reading raving reviews about this mascara, I bought it thinking it would be a cheaper alternative to Mac Extended Play Mascara (my holy grail) before I found a trick to extend its life (see my review of the Mac if you want to know how to make it last longer). Sadly, it wasn't meant to be AT ALL.

For a start, this not only left my long lashes looking clumpy but also uncurled said carefully curled lashes, which take an annoyingly long time to do.

But it doesn't end there. This mascara smudges like HELL. I had to REAPPLY my under eye concealer more than twice at work because it was so black under my eyes! This was WITHOUT even applying this mascara to the lower lashes!

Massive waste of time and money. I wore this a total of ONCE and threw it out immediately.
