My hair is fine, non-porous, and on the border between wavy and curly (2c/3a depending on environmental factors), and this is the best conditioner I have ever used. It provides sufficient slip to comb my hair, and doesn't weigh it down or leave any gross residue. Plus, BONUS, I'm not allergic to it, and I'm allergic to everything. The smell is very light and pleasant, and after I've rinsed it out I can't smell it anymore. I realize some people might not see this as a plus, but for a fragrance-sensitive, headache-and-migraine-prone, allergic mess like me, it's a godsend.Let's talk ingredients! I'm that annoying person who stops in the middle of every aisle and obsessively studies the ingredient labels when I'm shopping. It's a self-defense mechanism! So anyway, the first thing I do is check the list for things I have a known allergy/sensitivity to. Then I look for things that will accomplish what I want. So this met my criteria for the first by not having things like chamomile, lemon, blueberry, banana, wheat, any of the -thiazolinones, etc, that always seem to show up in conditioners; and it DOES have behentrimonium methosulfate, which for my money is the best conditioning agent that exists--it's an emulsifier (binds water and oil together) and it's cationic so it is attracted to human hair and holds the good stuff on to it. Nice. No siliconeAnyway, I've repurchased this several times and I've never had a bad experience. I've used it in hard water, soft water, and filtered water and it works for me no matter what.So now you know. I found my holy grail in the aisle of a Target.PS my allergies sound like they'd be pretty delicious all together, don't they?

The first time I did the big chop after my hair was fried by blow dryers and flat irons, my hair loved these products. Now my hair looks like I am a extra from a Michael Jackson video from the 80's and I've experienced hair breakage around the temples with it, I tried using with the Knot Today, without it, and with other creams and oils. Still a no go, just too heavy for my fine textured type 3 curls.

This is my clarifying shampoo of choice. I think I've been using it for about 5 years. I have 4a-4b hair and I do have to be careful about drying shampoos. This works just fine, has a great lather for something that is supposed to be sulfate free. I just have to be certain that as with any shampoo, I use a heavy deep conditioner with heat after.

Initial review on this. I washed with KC Come Clean then followed to deep condition with this for 20 minute under a hooded dryer. I have 3B/3C, lo-porosity, high density natural hair.So here goes.-thick creamy consistency (LOVE THIS)-VERY moisturizing-superb ingredient list-slippery on my hair-can be used to detangle my hair-smells good but not overpoweringLately, for extra hydration, I have been using watered down dc as a leave-in under gel or custard and have had great success with it. Next time I use this I will try it that way and let you all know how that works.

My favorite pomade! It provides hold but, unlike other pomades, isn't a pain to wash or brush out. It also smells great and is made from all-natural ingredients (from the label - "soybean oil, jojoba oil, meadowfoam oil, grapeseed oil, pomegranate oil, avocado oil, safflower oil, sweet almond and cherry kernel oil with natural fragrance"). I naturally have very curly, dry hair, so my advice to those with straighter, thinner hair would be to use sparingly. It adds a lot of shine and it's very noticeable on those with straighter hair.
