About me: dark eye bags, just like my dad! So yeah, they are hereditary, not a good look for a female... I also have two very deep lines under the eyes and giving my age (40) fine lines too :( I hate aging.I have bought everything going concealer wise, I've been through tarte, too faced, mac and rodial to name a few, all f-ing crease! Thid one is no exception. Yes it has good coverage, but that only lasts 3 hours max on me, and nothing seems to work with it, for example, the mac primer, the revolution primer or the elf primer seems to congeal or separate the concealer, setting sprays seem to crack it after a while (had the most success with insta fix and go if I dab the brush over my eye bag not spraying it) but on bare skin it seems to work well....It's not great as a concealer under the eye, it fades after a couple of hours and settles in to everything! It also is not definitely sweat or water proof! I've resorted to using it as a light foundation, I use the smallest amount with a damp Sponge, spread it around and it looks good, but these dark shi* eye bags have defeated another expensive concealer.... DAMN YOU! for reference, I use concealer shade 6 and I have mac 30 skin.... Ran a bit yellow at first, but when put on the skin it truly does blend in well!!! Anyone who's made it this far in my review, if there's anyone who knows of a good concealer let me know!

This is just the nicest contour... and I have repurchased at least 3 times already. I don't do instaglam contouring by any means but I do enjoy a natural contour and use a contouring product just about every time I do my face. This is probably my all time favorite after trying so many. I use the Medium shade. It's not to warm or ashy. It blends with little effort and can be applied minimally or built up for an exaggerated look, if that's your thing. The product is solid. But I also really appreciate the packaging! It is compact but sleek. There isn't a useless applicator. The little velvet pouch that it comes in is a nice touch that protects it from banging around your makeup storage. It isn't an inexpensive product by any means, and contour takes forever to use it so I just really like that it's not beat up and gross by the time you work through a whole pan! Also perfect size for travel.

I bought this on eBay when I was clearly on the manic end of my hypo-manic depression, I paid $25, it retails for $82, and it's worth $4.99. Why? Firstly this is an excessively heavy brush, no doubt due to the exquisite Lucite handle(which is why this is so pricey)the bristles are Taklon(made exclusively by DuPont)and are so densely packed that tinned sardines have more room to roam. It's all so unnecessary as this does nothing special for blending, applying, or finishing foundation or any cream/grease makeup ie.: cream rouge, contour, and highlight creams. As a piece of sculpture, this is somewhat interesting but that's about it.Oh and P.S. This is made in China, not Japan whereas now we all know the best brushes are made...although I have some gems that are made in France.

I have to say that it’s my personal preference, I dislike the packaging so bad, it’s a dropper so it’s real messy. Other than that is you only get 20 ml which is less than most foundation and it’s pricey. I have shade sf07 which is perfect for my nc25 skin. I really like the way it sit on my skin, looks like I don’t even have foundation at all, this is watery foundation and pretty light weight. If you don’t want full coverage foundation or don’t need much to cover then this is for you. I won’t rebuy this cause it’s expensive and I want to try another foundation.

So yeah, this review is going to be scathing. But look, when I spend $57 + tax on a palette I expect it to perform better than shadows from the dollar store and that was not what I got. I expect them to be buttery, and blendable, and most of all pigmented (or at least buildable, ffs). These shadows are none of those things. I'm not exactly dark skinned, and even with a good layer of primer I could barely get these colors to show up on me. If I'd try to build or blend them they'd turn muddy and more closely resemble the colors in my Naked I palette than anything else. Even the shimmer shadows were poorly pigmented and lackluster. I'm just so deeply disappointed by this. I LOVE the colors in the pans - have been dying for a cool toned palette with these exact shades -, but I just cannot get these to translate to my skin. I've tried multiple primers, applying wet, etc., and nothing seems to really work. But honestly, with a palette that costs this much you shouldn't have to resort to those kinds of things. Period.
