Eye Shadow -Juvia's Place -The Magic Eyeshadow Palette

Bought this for my 14 year old who really wanted it while we were in Ulta. It is mid priced and to me, mid quality. Not bad and not high end. Lots of colorful choices and decent pigmentation. The deep teal/blue is very pretty for a "cut crease" look. A few of these shades are too garish for me - but for a 14 year old? Perfect.

These shadows are so buttery and pigmented, its a steal for under $20! I love a good one and done shadow look on quick days, and this palette gives me that, and is versatile enough to be used for simple to glamorous looks. There's very little to no fallout even though these ahadows are so smooth..I wish they'd come out with some more palettes in more neutral tones, because I'd like some more, but don't wear rainbow colors like most of the other color stories..I do love a blush palette and single blush I have from this line as well..just great quality.

Simply amazing. When I first saw this, I instantly fell in love and had to order it, and I'm happy I did.

The colors are super nice and pigmented, they blend easily, and in my opinion, you can do so much with them. Obviously not all of them are for a everyday makeup look (if you're someone like me who doesn't go crazy with the eyeshadow anyways) but you can totally do a very basic look with the warm shades.

The package is very nice too, and the palette is super affordable since the quality is so great. The only tiny thing I can think of as a con is the lack of a mirror, but it's not that big of a problem. Would recommend this to anyone, and I really want to get more palettes from Juvia's place!

(This is a review for the mini that I wrote, decided to copy/paste it here too since it's applicable because the formulas are the same.)

The best palette I've bought in this price range by FAR, and one of the best palettes I've bought overall.

The colorful two top rows have a formula highly reminiscent of Urban Decay Electric (another one of my faves). The metallics are breathtakingly beautiful! So reflective, so pigmented and vibrant. They last quite well on my eyes even without a glitter glue or tacky primer (normally shimmers crease very quickly on my hooded eyes if I don't use one or the other). The colorful mattes are so pigmented and blend seamlessly.

The bottom two rows of neutrals are also very good. The shimmers are just as good as the colorful ones (albeit not as exciting). The mattes are definitely less pigmented and a couple of the browns look similar to each other, but, they still blend amazingly and are definitely buildable and you can get a good amount of pigment from them if you so desire. I really appreciate the neutrals because I can get a full eye look from this palette alone if necessary.

I would advise everyone to get the mini, it's not "mini" at all. It's still the largest palette in my collection and I don't see myself panning it any time soon. I can only imagine how enormous the original one is.
