Styling Products -Jonathan Product -Finish Control High Shine Flexible Hairspray

on 1/6/2017 1:07:00 AM

I received a full-sized can of this hairspray from several years ago and it's been my HG hair spray ever since. It provides firm, yet flexible hold without making my hair feel crunchy or causing gummy buildup. Plus, it smells great. At $22 for 7.6 oz, it's not exactly cheap but it's not outrageous either. I always get mine during 30% off sales.

Conditioner -Jonathan Product -IB Infuser Anti-Aging Restorative Conditioner

on 1/8/2015 6:22:00 PM

I would love to repurchase this conditioner but it has been discontinued and when I contacted the manufacturer they didn't even bother to respond to my email.
Anyway, I like this product very much and I just finished mine today. It is a thick formula which comes in a tub, I would describe it more as an intensive mask than as a typical conditioner. That said, it is weightless and makes my hair manageable and soft, without being too heavy. It has a nice scent that I personally like and it does not linger in my hair once I blowdried it. Hopefully this product is coming back, I would repurchase in a heartbeat.

Dry Shampoo -Jonathan Product -Green Rootine Dry Shampoo Brush On Hair Powder

on 11/19/2013 9:17:00 AM

1. The shampoo absorbs grease quite well.
I noticed that it works best if used not on the day I would usually wash my hair but a day before it, as in this case I need less powder and the effect of washed hair anyway will stay even on the next day.
If I use it on the same day when my hair needs to be washed, it takes more time and efforts (as there is more grease to be absorbed and I have to divide my hair in smaller sections for the dry shampoo to work better). The result is still quite good but not the best.

2. This shampoo refreshes hair making it look cleaner but it doesn't give the feeling of washed hair. Probably like any other dry shampoo...

3. After I use the shampoo I always have an itchy feeling that lasts for around 20 minutes.

4. The idea about the brush is excellent but the quality of the brush is not, as it has lost a lot of bristles and they keep falling every time I use it.

5. I have to shake my hair really well with fingers so to make sure there is no powder left as it can look like dandruff.

It looks like I complained more about it rather than saying good things, but these were just small observations but overall I am pleased more rather than disappointed. When this shampoo runs out I might buy it again unless I find something better by that time.

Hair Color -Jonathan Product -Root Touch Up

on 11/11/2013 3:40:00 PM

This is for 'red'. Wow I love this stuff! I have a pixie I cut a little too short in places and although I don't have the thinnest hair it's so short on the sides you can see parts of my scalp. I got this product to cover that and it works like a charm. My hair is a little more fire red than copper right now and the red of this product is quite copper, but it somehow works. Reds fade fast into all different shades and I could see this working through all of them. Love! Won't be without this til some hair grows back, haha.

Styling Products -Jonathan Product -Dirt

Let's put it this way: don't expect to rub this through your hair and magically walk away looking like Kate Moss. The smell was nice, but otherwise, I was sorely disappointed.

This product can probably work well IF you're a hairstylist, and/or IF you have serious, serious skills and know exactly how to apply this stuff, but for the rest of us, it might require too much know-how to be of any real use.

I didn't notice a difference between this, and my Ion Texturizing Wax. It left my hair limp and sticky--separated, yes, but not in a good way.

Verdict? Hairstyling amateurs shouldn't bother.
