This dries out my hair, unbelievable. I do not dare to use anymore - cannot be healthy for (fine) hair.

I love lustre lock! This product is so good for my hair. It's super smooth and silky RIGHT after I've used it. I know it's for coloured hair but I've been using it on my virgin hair and really feel like it does a good job. It's now in a spray format too, you can watch my full review and demo here on YouTube:

Hair Treatments -Joico -K-Pak Intense Hydrator

Amazing stuff. I have fine, permed hair that I do regular pin curl wet sets on. It doesn't get much heat styling at all, but the perm makes it very dry and wet sets that are brushed out are prone to frizz. This does what it says, really; it's an intense hydrating treatment, and it works. Makes my hair noticeably smoother, softer, less dry and less frizz-prone. On my third tube, I use this every time I wash ny hair. Will keep repurchasing.

Hair Treatments -Joico -K-Pak Deep Penetrating Reconstructor

This, along with the K-Pak Intense Hydrator, has made the biggest difference in how my hair looks and feels that I've ever experienced. I'm a convert.
My hair; fine, slightly wavy and permed, to help my regular pin curl wet sets last better. The perm is quite rough on the hair, of course, I tend to get a lot of frizz if I'm not very careful about how I do the set and brush-out, and I do brush the sets quite a lot, which is also hard on the hair. This helps a lot, making my hair feel smoother, stronger and better, more like my hair when it's not permed. I do agree that this needs to be followed up with a moisturising treatment, though, it really is a protein treatment, not a hydrator.

I'm on my second tube of this, on my third tube of the Intense Hydrator and gradually switching my entire haircare routine to K-Pak products, that's how much of a difference it makes for my hair. Never used salon products consistently before, though, so it could be just that, but either way, I recommend this and will keep repurchasing.

Shampoo -Joico -K-PAK Chelating Shampoo

If you are ever looking for the Chelating Shampoo, it has been renamed K-Pak Clarifying Shampoo. I was pretty set on the Chelating shampoo as I live in an area with hard water, like mineral deposits on my faucets and in my coffee make hard. Needless to say, hard water does a number on your hair. I have pretty typical 2b hair, fine, flat on the top with a slight wave down the ends and prone to dryness. The reason I had to make sure this was formerly the Chelating Shampoo is that clarifying shampoos aren't your friend if you have dry hair. Lately I had noticed my hair was looking particularly limp at the ends one day after shampooing, if I didn't have dry hair it would only be an afterthought, but I had day one hair that where the ends were so dry I'd get static when brushing, and day two my hair was limper than a wet noodle. I wet my hair thoroughly, applied a good amount of shampoo to my palm and lathered up. Waited about two minutes, rinsed well and followed with Joicos Intense Hydrator. I didn't find the shampoo to be overly drying, which was my main concern. Using clarifying shampoos in the pest meant spending 15-20 minutes brushing out tangles from my hair. This left my hair more manageable, but does need to be followed up with a good conditioner. This is a must if you live in an area with hard water.
