This mousse controls frizz like no other! I’ve tried so many different mousse products, including high end, and this one really controls my very thick coarse curly hair, without any residues. It also contains keratin (at the bottom of the ingredient list but whatever), and it’s alcohol free! Price is super cheap too! It can get crunchy but only if you really put a lot. I like that I don’t have to use a ton of product to get the hold that I’m looking for, and looks natural. The only thing I’m not a fan of is the scent, but it does dissipate. Will definitely repurchase.

I don't ever use shampoos with synthetic fragrances in it any more but back in the days of my teenager years I remember being & using this particular finese shampoo Bc I really liked how it smelled! But I don't use this anymore!

I remember using this product in my teen years and loved the way it softened my long hair. I somehow was lured away from the product until I saw it again in Walmart for 1.99. I used it and was amazed how it washed away the heavy hairspray that's usually left behind with other shampoos. I love using it today as much as 40 years ago. Thank you Finesse!

Best shampoo & conditioner of all time!I have used Finesse my entire life and it has always been my favorite shampoo & conditioner. The first thing I notice is the out-of-this-world smell! (I have been looking for a perfume that smells like Finesse for years. As soon as I find one I'm buying 100 bottles. lol) I believe the most prominent note in the shampoo is that of freesia. Finesse has made me realize that I adore the smell of freesia. It leaves your hair beautifully scented with the smell of Finesse for a couple of days.Smell aside, even the consistency is great. It isn't too thick and difficult to rinse out, nor is it too thin and runny. It doesn't leave build-up or product residue. It also contains silk and the conditioner acts as a detangler. I swear, you will not need a detangler with Finesse! I have fine, thinning hair and Finesse leaves it in great condition - better than any shampoo I've ever tried!I don't know why (I'm not complaining.), but it is so inexpensive! I should totally stock up on this stuff. Please give it a try, you will not regret it. Keep the brand going. I've been using it since the 80's. I found some at Wal*mart. Enjoy!

Finesse Lavender 2 in 1 Shampoo & ConditionerI bought this for my teenage boys but ended up trying it for a few days. I still think the scent is a little chemical but the lavender version is much better than the regular version. My sons actually picked this shampoo from the scent alone. It is fresher than the regular and not overwhelmingly lavender. It is a decent shampoo and cleanses the hair well. We all use conditioner even when using 2in1 formulas because they never offer enough conditioning on their own. My teenage boys use a separate conditioner as well but can get away with using this alone if needed. For me, I would love to buy this version over the other but something in this, possibly the fragrance, the lavender, I do not know but it irritates my scalp much more than the other version so personally, I cannot use it. It makes mine and my daughter's scalp itchy the other version does not. My boys have no issues with it at all and I would probably buy this again for them. Price is great and you get a good amount for your money.
