Lipstick -Estee Lauder -Pure Color Lipstick in 'Pinkberry'

First of all, I love the formula of the EL Pure Envy lipsticks. It is a perfect mix of hydration with decent lasting power. When it wears off, it just becomes more and more subtle. Other brands I find as they wear off get almost funky in color and just look awful - not with the EL lipsticks.

The color of this is just as the name suggests - a beautiful pink with berry undertone. So if you have cool undertones and are looking for an everyday MLBB pink - this is it! It doesn’t come across screaming or too bright - just very natural looking.

My other favorite cool MLBB but a bit deeper in color is EL Irresistible.

No matter what other lipsticks I try - these 2 are my all time favorites.

Treatments (Face) -Estee Lauder -Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II

I only used this 2x and got instant irritation. Almost like a rash. My skin is combo-dry and prone to perioral dermatitis and SD so most likely it was the yeast ingredients in this. I would be wary if you also suffer from fungal irritation.

Moisturizers -Estee Lauder -Estee Lauder Revitalizing Supreme + Global Anti-aging Cell Power Creme

I have been on a face cream mission for months now and this is the one... I have mildly sensitive skin and fragrances are usually a big NO for me. This cream has NO Fragrance smell, it is heavy enough that I use a little more at night before bed, but light enough to use it in the morning as well. I don't want to believe in serums, although I have been told they are beneficial and I did purchase it, but I use the separate serum at night so far and not in the AM. So far no con's. It absorbs pretty quickly.

** Background: I am a long time user of "Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream" but wanted to try something else. I went to "Lancome Renergie Lift Multi-Action Cream" which after a whole container I didn't notice much different. I then went to "Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion " which after 3 days of use left me with a chemical burn, swelling, pain etc for about 4 weeks. I took some time off of face creams fearing to try another one. A few weeks ago I came across a very knowledgeable "Estee Lauder" Rep who gave me some options. I ended up purchasing "Estee Lauder Advanced Time Zone" which I immediately noticed has a strong fragrance smell, but I used it with the day serum. After about 4-5 days of use I just noticed my face starting to break out, which is not common. The smell also started getting to me. So I discontinued use and returned. I then tried this product...

Moisturizers -Estee Lauder -DayWear Advanced Multi-Protection Anti-Oxidant Creme Broad Spectrum SPF 15

foto

Upon entering my 30's I found my old skin care regime was no longer catering to ageing skin concerns, such as wrinkle-prevention and hydration, so I gave the Advanced Multi-Protection moisturisers (day and night) a try after buying a 'trial' size of the day cream. After three days using the moisturiser (with the Advanced Night Micro-Foaming Cleanser) my skin was incredibly/unbelievably soft to touch, moreover my skin looked smoother and more radiant (so I was told!). I would recommend this to anyone looking for a light and non-irritating product to revitalise dull and rough skin!

I have not given the product a full 5* as I did find during the very harsh winter months when temperatures hit sub-zero, the hydration of the product does not penetrate deep enough to prevent dry patches on my face drying out and requiring me to use heavier moisturisers on these areas.

Treatments (Face) -Estee Lauder -Idealist Pore Minimizing Skin Refinisher

foto

I have used Idealist since it was first introduced many years ago. An Estee Lauder rep at a department store gave my friend and I a sample to try, and as soon as I felt how silky it was on my skin, I was sold.

I have very enlarged pores from years of oily, acne-prone skin, and this is the only product I have found that truly softens and improves the texture of my skin. Not only does it help reduce pores, it eliminates dry, flaky patches as well. I rarely use a moisturizer, as Idealist does the trick for me. It leaves a velvety-soft matte texture that is a perfect primer for make-up. If I ever try to go without Idealist, I am amazed at how much rougher my skin feels, and how make-up "drags" rather than gliding on smoothly.

Idealist has been my #1 beauty staple for too many years to count! I just purchased the large size once again, and though it's pricey, a little goes a long way and usually lasts me nearly a year. Guess that will have to suffice until they come out with the gallon-jug size!
