Foundations -Estée Lauder -Double Wear Maximum Cover Camouflage Makeup For Face & Body SPF 15

I have issues with facial hair and stubble. I stopped into Macy's one evening looking for anything that might help mask the illusion of darkened skin around my mouth/chin. After this product was suggested and applied to my face, I was convinced I should at least try it. It's very heavy coverage, as you might expect. It does a great job of hiding any type of discoloration and actually helps a good bit with the appearance of my chin. I use Este Lauder's Double Wear foundation first and then a small amount of this wherever I need the extra coverage. It spreads evenly with the foundation brush I purchased that evening. A little goes a long way, especially with the brush. I was told by the Esthetician that my skin was dry and soaking in the make-up, so at her suggestion, I've started using a heavier moisturizer. I've noticed that this make-up "settles" in my large pores, making them very noticeable. So I try to apply my foundations immediately after using a facial cream, and I finish with a powder, which helps soften the "settling". The foundations, combined, definitely rub off on anything that touches my face, which is taking a while to get used to. It's quite annoying but still worth it to me. My skin is typically so oily that I've used oil blotting papers every afternoon for years now, but something about the changes I've made (maybe richer moisturizer or maybe new foundation) has reduced that oiliness. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone looking for a heavy foundation.

Liquid -Estée Lauder -Double Wear Stay in Place Makeup

I use this foundation for over 3 years now. It is perfect for my super oily skin that is acne prone. It stays on for 12+hours. I don't get shiny, but I do get smile lines unfortunately. I tried everything but I always get them. I wear shade 3w1 tawny. I have a medium skintone. Really recommend this one. I only buy it in sale.

Masks -Estée Lauder -Advanced Night Repair Concentrated Recovery PowerFoil Mask

I managed to get 2 pieces of these on promotion and thought 'why not treat myself'. These sheet masks are very hydrating, although not as much as La Mer's Hydrating Facial which is extremely rich. I used this for 30 minutes and then massaged in what remained on skin and also had enough left over for arms, hands and even my lower legs - which are always drier than the rest of me. Although I still needed to moisturize my legs after 24 hours, my face didn't require a night moisturizer or even a day moisturizer the following morning which is testament to how hydrating it is. No breakouts either which is a bonus.

Also gave me a nice glow, almost on par with what I used to get with SKII's old whitening mask before it was discontinued. I do find the fit a bit fiddly and usually with sheet masks I end up cutting the slit between the eye and mouth so that it adheres to my nose and inner cheeks properly, and this was no exception. But all in all quite happy with the results using these.

Treatments (Face) -Estée Lauder -Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II

I first used this when back in my early twenties and ANR was still the original formula - before it underwent god knows how many reincarnations. Back then I used to find it would help a little with the odd pimple/blemish mark that would appear every few weeks but did little else for my skin concerns. I was primarily using it in the hopes of some sort of defense against future ageing, but I can't say whether or not it did achieve anything as once the bottle ran out I used other products and then recently thought why not give it another go?

So onto the latest version 'Synchronized Recovery Complex II'. I don't know if it's the fact that 'Tocopherol Acetate' (Vitamin E) has been pushed down to 30th place on ingredients list (used to be 13th), or whether it's because 'Retinyl Palmitate (an ester of Vitamin A) has been completely removed from the new version, but this one is not doing anything for blemishes whatsoever and I've been using it for over a month. It makes sense as both of those ingredients, especially Vitamin A in any form are known to help fade blemishes.

Add to that a whole host of new and unpronounceable ingredients and that probably explains why if anything I'm getting even more breakouts since trialing this...although which one (or more) of the many new ingredients is the culprit I couldn't say! Not sure why they just couldn't let a good thing be and have to change/ruin it?

Edit: Originally used and wrote the above in May 2017 - but didn't upload it here, had it saved to my notepad. Have recently (July 2018) tried again but for a shorter period and somehow this time around it did show a difference on a small acne mark on my chin, not as significant as with the older formulation but definitely more than when initially using. Not sure if its potency increases over time or if there's some other logic behind that...

Treatments (Face) -Estée Lauder -Perfectionist Correcting Serum

I'm 28 and the lines beside nose begin to appear. I purchased full-size serum, thought it has potential. I have been using this product for 6 months, at daily nighttime skincare routine. The texture gets dry fast so you need to blend it rapidly, you also need more amount than usual for the whole face.
I can see the instant results, my skin looks more even and smooth after applying. However, I think it's just temporary. I have seen no considerable results after 4 weeks or six months. I don't think my fine lines are actually minimized (but maybe because my fine lines haven't been clearly seen yet). Using this before makeup for a smoother base is also a good idea. I'm still quite disappointed with this serum compared to other EL products.
However, using this product, I hope it could prevent aging and wrinkles in the future. I understand once the wrinkles appear, it's nearly impossible to take them back. So I think prevention is better than treatment.
I won't purchase this serum again. I will try the new one Perfectionist Pro, hope it would be better.
