Treatments (Eye) -Estée Lauder -Advanced Night Repair Eye Synchronised Complex II

I have been using this product quite religiously for over a month. Let me look at what it said it would do and what it actually did:

* REPAIRS Dramatically reduces the look of every key sign of eye aging, including puffiness, lines and dryness - It has helped with dryness because it is hydrating. But, overall, the effect is not dramatic.

* BRIGHTENS DARK CIRCLES in just 3 weeks - Nope, my dark circles are still as dark as death.

* HYDRATES for 24 hours thanks to a potent hydration booster, including Hyaluronic Acid - I haven't kept this on for 24 hours ever but, yes, it is hydrating. The problem is this: it sort of forms a film under my eyes and this is not good if I have to apply concealer. If I apply concealer, the skin under my eye looks flaky. That is why I cannot use this in the morning if I am going out. It is a decent hydrating eye gel that spreads out easily upon application. I am not sure why but when I used to apply this initially, I used to experience a slightly burning sensation. With continued use, that sensation has disappeared.

* PREVENTS free radical damage with 8-hour anti-oxidant power - I have no idea how I can determine this. I sure hope that for the very expensive price I paid for this, it is working miracles that I cannot see.

I don't think I will be repurchasing this. There are plenty of eye gels/creams that do a good job with hydration.

Amazing coverage, amazing colour (majority of other foundations are too muddy for me, because I have a pale skin with yellow undertone) and one bottle lasts me for about 6 months, because little goes a long way. Only think I'd change is the packaging that's lacking some pump, but I bought some random pump of of Ebay, so I'm reusing that :-)

Oh my, just no. This is SO frosty on me; it looks ridiculous. I don't get the reviews that say this has "a bit" of frost? It's nothing but shimmer. Very cool-toned, silvery shimmer. The texture is fine and the colour is okay if you like blue-based pinks, but the frostiness puts this over the top for me. I really don't know who this would flatter.

Got this as a gift and would never consider purchasing it. Additionally, Estee Lauder is not cruelty-free.

I got this cream as a PR sample. I wouldn’t buy it myself because I don’t believe in eye creams, (especially in jar packaging).
I used to have a DS sample of this product a while back and it did nothing. But I went through full sized jar nonetheless, to check if it’s still useless. Surprise surprise, it is.
The only thing this cream did is slightly moisturize my eye area. The packaging is bulky and impractical, the product lasted me for 3 weeks of everyday use- not impressive. The consistency is gel-like, reminds me of Clinique’s Moisture Surge eye cream.
I’m giving it 2 lippies instead of 1 because it didn’t irritate my sensitive skin, and provided some moisture. Otherwise, don’t bother.

Love, love, love!
Use after exfoliating in a hot shower.
And, lasts, worth it.
