Moisturizers -Embryolisse -Lait-Crème Concentrè (24-Hour Miracle Cream)

DiaryofAiko's experience sounds just like mine. I use this as a facial moisturizer. It feel light, and weightless once absorbed. It has a strong scent that sometimes bothers me but sometimes doesn't. My husband likes the fragrance though, when he smells it on my face, so it may be a proximity thing. It does not break me out, and it gives adequate moisture and occlusiveness to my dry/dehydrated skin, but I definitely have to use a separate eye cream. If this were unscented, if the scent were lighter, or if the scent dissipated, I would use it as a go-to weightless hand cream, but alas, it's not meant to be. My hands need a lot of it so the scent is heavy and sticks around. I would definitely repurchase because it's a very good basic cream that does not break me out (seems like a lot to ask for these days) and I love the hygienic metal tube.

This lotion made me realize that I am highly allergic/reactive to triethanolamine in the worst possible way. I bought it for a extremely good price at Target (sadly they discontinued selling it on their website several months ago) and I was hoping to use it during the warmer months. Well I couldn't help myself so I tried it when it warmed up. After a day my chest erupted in the worst case of cystic acne I have ever experienced in my life and I rarely break out on my chest, arms, back, etc. It has taken me about two weeks for it to subside and not all of the pimples/cyst came to a head. I passed this lotion to my mother and hopefully she will have a better experience than I do. On the plus side, it is a very light lotion that has a subtle scent and keeps you moisturized for the whole day. And this brand made me hypervigilant about avoiding triethanolamine in hair and body care. So that means a huge purge is going to occur in my stash because I know it is in select hair gels, pomades, hair moisturizers, face lotions, etc. It sucks to have sensitive skin but at least I can have clear skin for once in my life.

Cleansers -Embryolisse -Lait Creme Moussant (Foaming Cleansing Milk)

Highly underrated product.

I'm on my second bottle of this cleanser. It does the job so well for a good price. Comes out like a cream and works into a lather, has a clean smell to it - doesn't leave skin feeling stripped, feels soft and clean. I use it every night with my clarisonic, I have never had any reaction to this product and it has never given me any trouble. Generous amount of product.

When removing makeup I usually use a balm cleanser followed by this, so I'm not sure on its makeup removing capabilities!

Overall, highly recommend.

Finally: a de-puffing cooling eye moisturizer that actually works! I`ve been through them all: the roller ball ones from Garnier, L`Oreal, Clinique and Palmer`s, but the Embryolisse one is a little miracle worker. I store mine in the fridge to use first thing in the morning, but even at room temperature it feels cooling. It contains hyalouronic acid and it`s oil free, so it`s not heavy, but it is moisturizing. It`s a solid stick that melts when rubbed on the skin. It really works to perk up my tired eyes and it seems to kind of make the under eye area lift and firm up. I haven`t had any millia or irritation from this, but I imagine that if you have especially dry skin, you might want to pat some moisturizer on with this. It`s a keeper.

I've had heaps of trouble finding the right moisturiser for my combination/dehydrated/rosacea skin.

Found this product after watching Lisa Eldridge on YouTube. Definitely better than most store bought moisturisers, and I've bought everything from Chanel, Dermalogica, Bioderma, Ultraceuticals, Clarins,YSL, Estee Lauder to Radical Skincare from Sephora (at $150).

This is a great moisturiser. Doesn't make me sweat underneath and has really calmed my red undertone. Radical Skincare comes a close second, but at three times the price, I know what I'll be buying next.

So far, this is my favourite moisturiser, even better than the organic one I've been making because I'm sick of paying a fortune for stuff that does nothing but aggravate my sensitive skin.
