Fragrances -Elizabeth Arden -Trini Girl by Nicki Minaj

on 2/22/2018 6:25:00 PM

Why oh why do I continue to buy fragrances blind online, based purely on reviews? I read a review of this and it sounded like a fragrance I would love - tropical, fruity, and reminiscent of an island vacation. In the dead of Winter, it sounded like just what I needed. In reality this is so cheap-smelling I can't stand it. The initial smell is pure alcohol, next is cheap spicy musk. Almost no fruit at all and what's there is cloying. The bottle is as ridiculous as her other fragrances. I thought my kids would find it funny - turns out they are terrified of it. This one is going straight to the recycling bin.

This does lengthen, create volume, and curls. But it clumps a lot and the Wand does not separAte lashes. It doesnt look spectacular. The overall look is just meh . Just looks like u piled on a thick layer of mascarA

Primer/ Corrector -Elizabeth Arden -Flawless Start Instant Perfecting Primer

It has a soft, velvety texture that blends into the skin to perfection. The blurring effect is quite noticeable, making you wonder whether you actually need foundation. The kind you thing you would use in no-make up make up days. Sadly, it caused my super sensitive skin to break out...

Hated the smell, gave it to my colleagues and the whole office used it as hand cream.

Skincare - Face -Elizabeth Arden -Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Serum

So disappointed, I used to love these capsules but the new version, Advanced Ceramide Capsules are just horrible compared to the previous ones. They are incredibly oily and just sit on the skin and will seriously sting your eyes if you put them anywhere near them ie like on your forehead. I could use the previous version on my eyelids and they sunk in beautifully in a few minutes. I bought 90 too, so I guess I will use them on my hands. To make matters worse, I got two quite nasty spots after using them last time - wish they had left them as they were.

UPDATE: I tried to leave a similar review on the Elizabeth Arden site and got the following:
"Our staff has read your review and values your contribution even though it did not meet all our website guidelines. Thanks for sharing and we hope to publish next time!"

I guess they only publish positive reviews :-) If you used them before and plan to buy again, I recommend you get a sample first to see if the new formulation suits you.
