Cleansers -Elemis -Balancing lime blossom cleanser

I had so many expectations of this cleanser! I had an Elemis facial and I absolutely was convinced that their products were making my skin look radiant but then after the facial after a few weeks when I started to use this product, I started breaking out really bad. My nose was covered with red big bumps and I had a big whitehead on the left side of my face and then on my forehead I had a few whiteheads and when it finally popped the scar took a month to heal. I even took this with me when I was traveling to a more humid climate and it still broke me out. I didn't want to give this up but I stopped using it for a week and my skin returned back to normal. The spots disappeared and luckily the acne scar went away quite quickly. Do not spend your money on Elemis, their products are marketed quite well but the products unfortunately do not live up to the hype.

Skincare - Face -Elemis -Pro-Flash Beauty Balm

I got a 15ml sample as part of a goody bag and after 9 months its still going. That means its not an exceptional product- I always use up exceptional products.

I like this more than the very well known Clarins Beauty Balm Eclair for 2 reasons.
Why? 1) it does make your skin look a bit more illuminated 2) the fragrance is more on the minty side which I prefer.

On the whole I do not like this product. It leaves a noticeable 'film' after it is applied which is annoying and the illuminting part is rather average. This product is obsolete as either your moisturiser can illuminate you, or your foundation or illuminating powder will do it.

A time wasting product

Cleansers -Elemis -Advanced Skincare Nourishing Omega-Rich Cleansing Oil

I was previously using the MAC Cleanse-Off Oil and after it ran out, I bought the Elements Oil. This product is great for removing makeup and just cleansing skin in general. I love it for removing eye makeup as it is extremely gentle and very effective. My skin feels clean and soft after use and there is no residue left behind. My skin is normal but can be prone to irritation with certain products. This cleanser does not irritate my skin in the slightest and does a great job at cleansing. I highly recommend.

Cleansers -Elemis -Elemis Rehydrating Rosepetal Cleanser

This cleanser is for people with very dry skin, and only those people. I know because I have normal skin and it didn't work for me. The problem is that it is so soothing and so gentle that it does very little in the way of cleansing. It pumps out with the texture of a lightweight cream and sits lightly on the skin. It is not even remotely drying or stripping. That is kind of the problem, for me - there is no cleaning power at all and when I used it as a first cleanser, all of my make-up and sunscreen stayed on. As a second cleanser, it's a bit better, but I still feel as though I might as well use nothing and get the same effect. I do think that if my skin were very dry, this would feel really nice as a second cleanser to restore some moisture after taking make-up off. It has some vitamin E in it, which contributes to the soothing effect, as well as rosewater, which lends it a soft rose petal scent. It's very pleasant to use if it's the right product for you. At $36, it's a bit on the expensive side, but a little goes a long way, so the 200 ml bottle should last a while.

Cleansers -Elemis -Biotec Skin Energising Cleanser

I mostly agree with the Cbarnes81 review posted below. Here is what I have to add.

The good:
- my husband commented on how nice my skin looks and feels after I start using this cleanser. I can totally see the difference this product made.
- it doesn't cause any breakouts or rosacea flares (I have rosacea prone very sensitive skin)

The bad:
- It has terribly overpowering fragrance. To me, it smells like a good dishwasher detergent, but stronger. I can feel it for at least two hours. Very disturbing.
- Unusable for sensitive eyes. I can't put this product anywhere close to my eyes, every time I try I cry for about 10 minutes (I guess it's the fragrance again).

At first, I gave it 2 stars and wrote that I will not repurchase, but while using it I've changed my mind. It have really made a visible difference in my skin. I use it one time a day 5-6 pumps, sometimes I double cleanse with it and use extra 3-4 pumps and I'm not even a halfway through. I wish I would have been scentless, in that case, I would have called it HG, but as it is now I'm looking forward to use something else once I finish this bottle.
