They are sold online and select dermatology offices nationwide.

Treatments (Face) -Eau Thermal Avene -Retrinal

I have been using RetrinAL 0.05 for almost 3 months now, and it is superb. The first retinol product I've ever tried. I'm 35, have dry, sensitive skin prone to rosacea and redness. A lot of things like harsh cleansers, SLS, and most acids give me instant rosacea outbreaks. But, since I had never tried retinol, I was curious to try it and settled on Avene because of good reviews and because my experience with the brand was pretty good. Their products seem well-designed for sensitive skins, even though they use a lot of petrochemicals. Almost everything I've tried, with only one exception, was well tolerated on my skin. So... the RetrinAL 0.05. I just use this on every 3rd night, to minimize any potential reaction. I've also read that you don't need to use retinol more than 3 times a week in your 30s. I had no weird peeling / redness reaction at all, although I think maybe after the first or second week, my skin felt slightly more sensitive than usual. That faded, and now I look forward to using this cream, because it means that I'll wake up with radiant skin. It shrinks pores, smooths the surface, and gives that glow that we all want. This is probably the best cream I've ever used, tbh, because it is quantifiably doing something. I love it and think it was worth the money. I use the matching eye cream too.

Cleansers -Eau Thermal Avene -Cleanance soapless gel cleanser for oily skin

on 3/11/2018 9:46:00 AM

This is a life changing product for me, I can't live without it!! Been using this for 4 years now, I hope this never discontinues!

This was actually recommended by my dermatologist; had went to her as I suffered from acne that just would not go away (tried multiple remedies and solutions from drugstores and pharmacies and on the internet before resorting to this) and so, was prescribed Doxycycline and replaced with this cleanser instead.

This changed my life. Together with the medication, my acne cleared up within 8 months (it took this long because i decided to take a lower dosage and not put my organs at risk). Back then, I have oily combo skin which is targetted to this market for this product.
After cleansing, it also does not leave this greasy feeling afterwards. My face feels extremely clean without any oily residue left behind. And you don't even need a lot of this product! Just one pea size is enough to cover the entire face.

I have been using this ever since and have not switched to any other facial wash. Granted, it is expensive as I live in SE Asia, but I have re-purchased this about 3 times and I have not regretted it any since. At most, I stock up whenever there are discounts available at my local drugstore.

My acne has reduced greatly as well. I really think its not just the medication, but its also because of this facial wash that has not broken me out ever since switching to this. Love love love!

To sum up,

+ Sturdy packaging
+ Does not leave any oily residue behind
+ No fragrance
+ Gel formula, just the way I like it (my own personal preference)
+ Works on oily combo skin types

- Costly in my country
- Other than that, literally nothing

Would totally recommend my friends to purchase! And of course, would definitely stock up and repurchase!

Hope this helps!

Moisturizers -Eau Thermal Avene -Tolerance Extreme Emulsion

I used this for a few months mostly because it didn't break me out, but I finally have to admit that it didn't hydrate my skin worth a damn. I have combination skin and even in the oilier spots on my face it wasn't providing any hydration. On my cheeks it was the worst, leaving dry spots that made any foundation I was wearing look terrible. This might work okay if you have excessively oily skin. Otherwise it's not a great lotion. I like the novelty of the packaging, which is locked in such a way that preservatives don't need to be added to the lotion, but it does take some practice to get used to it. If you squeeze too hard the product can easily go flying everywhere (as happened to me with the tester in the store). I would try it if you have really oily skin, but it definitely doesn't hydrate very well.

Toners -Eau Thermal Avene -Gentle toner

If you have dry and sensitive skin and you want a toner that will hydrate your face then this is for you. I have combination acne-prone and sensitive skin and this didnt break me out at all. This isn't an acid toner so pls dont expect it to gently exfoliate your skin. this will just bring back hydration onto your skin without irritating it. i think all avene products are very gentle. here is my full review of this product https://brushstrokesandlullabies.blogspot.com/2017/04/gentle-toner.html

Moisturizers -Eau Thermal Avene -Cleanance Antishine Regulating Lotion

I started using Avene when I was living in the UK....you could pick it up at any Boots. I love the Cleanance products because of my recurring acne. The Triacnel lotion is wonderful too although a bit spendy
