Lotions/ Creams -Avene -Cicalfate Restorative Skin Cream

on 12/9/2018 10:40:00 PM

I got this out of whim when it was on sale. After finishing the tube ...

- packaging is clean and simple
- a little goes a long way (thick consistency)
- softens and calms skin ( winter months are harsh)
- reasonable price

- it increased my breakouts :(

Moisturizers -Avene -Trixera Emollient Balm

This product is a life saver if you have eczema! I tried everything designed to help eczema break outs but nothing worked and I suspected that most of the products were actually making it worse.

Then I saw some YouTube clips on people that had tried this product and their results were so good I thought "here we go again, more money to be spent" but had to try anything that could possibly help. Well, I'm pleased to say that my search has stopped! I use this product from head to toe and the eczema on my face has improved so much that I only occasionally have to use my prescribed protopic cream and the same goes for the rest of my body and steroid creams.

I use the cream and the balm on my body on the driest parts in the morning and evening and then on my face I just use the balm and let it sink in and then I mix my foundation with a tiny bit of the balm and apply them. There is little to no roll off and my face looks nourished. I hope this review helps because whilst it is a bit pricey, when you compare it to buying a lot of creams that don't work, it's cheap in the long run!!

Lotions/ Creams -Avene -TriXera Nutrition Lait Nutri-Fluid Lotion

This is a lovely lightweight lotion, easily absorbed and very delicately scented, so it won't interact with my perfume. It comes in a 400ml pump, which is great for the entire family.

Liquid -Avene -Couverance Fluid Foundation Corrector

I use this in shade 2.0 Naturel. It is just lovely. I use Hydrance Optimale UV Light underneath and it works wonders. My skin feels soft and looks fresh all day long. It doesn't become cakey, leaves a semi matte finish, which I like to powder with LRP teint mineral powder. It doesn't slide or shift, finally found my HG foundation. I highly recommend!

Moisturizers -Avene -Hydrance Optimale Riche UV SPF 20

I wanted a basic day cream with an spf to fight aging. After researching the isles in my shop ( I work at a parapharmacie) I decided to ditch my fancy Caudalie, Nuxe and Darphin. Avene has never disappointed me in the past and again it proved to be a HG product. While checking the ingredients there was 1 thing that convinced me: it contains soy extracts (2 of them). Soy has been proven to fight aging skin, so this was my match made in heaven. Spf, hydration, and anti aging qualities! The cream doesn't feel that lightweight as I expected, and leaves a sticky finish right after applying. This feeling goes away in about 10 minutes and then my skin feels soft and looks radiant. I use the fluid foundation by Couvrance (Avene) over it and it looks absolutely beautiful. My skin looks fresh and feels hydrated all day, foundation lasts too.
