Primer/ Corrector -e.l.f. -Hydrating Face Primer

on 6/19/2018 4:22:00 PM

I bought this because I wanted something that would hydrate my skin enough to wear powder. I does the trick. I use a minimal - emphasis on MINIMAL - quantity and, though it feels as if it never will sink in, it eventually does. Powder goes on well over it and I don't look like an Egyptian mummy.

So why the low grade? It is chock-o-block full of silicones. And, of course, it broke me out (a tiny zit, but enough to raise a red flag). With me it's almost mathematical. 2 + 2 = 4. My skin + silicone = zits.

I will not throw it away because I intend to use it sparingly and seldom, only when I want to use powder foundation. But girls with acne-prone skin BEWARE.

Scrubs -e.l.f. -Gentle Peeling Exfoliant

This stuff is beyond amazing. Similar products such as the one made by Boscia can't even compare to this stuff -- AND it's a fraction of the price! You owe it to yourself to try this. ELF, y'all have really outdone yourselves!

Foundations -e.l.f. -Cosmetics Acne Fighting Foundation

ETA: just one day of wearing this foundation -- i came home to wash my face and find new breakouts (this was only new product) and my face was more inflamed/red/splotchy so I will not use again. May be the salicylic acid. Plan to either return or donate.

This is not bad for $6 if you can find your shade.

TL;DR; - This foundation is a good option for folks who want light coverage, if used with a damp sponge. Shade range is iffy. The shade Buff gives my NC15-20 skin a My-Skin-But-A-Little-Better look - with just very light coverage and no oil control for my skin (even with primer).

Blush -e.l.f. -Powder Blush Palette - Light

Such a good product for the price. Easy to blend and build, my first Elf product and I couldn’t have been more pleased. The range of colours are nice too though the darker bottom pinks I tend to go for the most. I sometimes use the top right blush to shape and warm up my face as I’m fair. The packaging I don’t mind at all, very sleek. Love.

Brows -e.l.f. -Instant Lift Brow Pencil

Cheap and doesn’t pull red. I wear the neutral brown. Bummer is the point goes away after two uses. It’s soft. Oh well. It still works if you don’t draw super sharp brows. Stays on decently too !
