Makeup Brushes -e.l.f. -Studio Powder Brush

I'm not usually a fan of using brushes to apply foundation, but after reading the reviews here I thought I'd buy this brush and give it a try. My foundation went on amazingly, and the brush soaked up none of it. I don't know why they call it a powder brush, I tried it with powder and blush and it's much better as a foundation brush. I'll probably buy more from this set if they're as good as this one.

Eye Shadow -e.l.f. -Smudge Pot Cream Eyeshadow

I really hate the packaging. i cannot remember which I got. it is a grayish purple color. It looks okay on my eyelid. With a bit extra effort, you can make it work. It does not transfer since the material feels so hard and my eyelids are not oily. I got it for less than a dollar but I still would not repurchase it. It is so hard to blend is not a surprisingly pretty color. The biggest problem I have with it is that it makes my face looks dirty. No need to waste your money on this. Spend a little extra dollars. I mean single eyeshadows usually lasts everyone a long time.

Brought this in burgundy. Love it. It not too brown and enough red to my liking. It stays fairly put and is not sticky. I brought two. It wear well for a elf product. I hate doe brushes but this one apply well with little efforts.

Mascara -e.l.f. -Studio 3-in-1 Mascara (Lengthen, Define & Volumize)

This mascara didn't work for me. One pro is the price ($3 USD!), which made me feel less guilty about tossing it.

- It went on unevenly and clumpy unless I put it on very slowly and with a very light touch
- It stuck entire sections of lashes together
- It was very hard to get off - I lost some lashes in the process
- The shape of the brush was problematic - like another reviewer, I kept using the ball on the end to reach smaller lashes on the edge, but ended up getting mascara everywhere else (lids, eye) too

Contour -e.l.f. -Contour Palette

This is my go-to pallete. I use it for my face and eyes. The colors always look natural no matter what I want to add to it and it's very versatile. When it comes to my basic, daily makeup, I just put on my bb cream, put this on over it and I'm ready to go. I even use the dark brown for my eye brows.
