Mascara -E.L.F. -Volumizing and Defining Mascara

I am giving this 4 lippies, because I only paid $1 for it at Target. Mine is the newer black tube, not the white one pictured above, fyi. This is a good everyday mascara, not bad at all, but not AMAZING either. This makes lashes a nice deep black, and adds a decent amount of volume and length. I like wetter formulas like this, because they tend to not dry out as quickly in the tube. I have not had any flaking or smudging, and it does not irritate my sensitive eyes. I like the slim, pipe-cleaner style wand, which is easy to work with. I would def. go back and buy more backup tubes, but I snagged the last one! Would repurchase!

Pressed Powders -E.L.F. -Tone Correcting Powder

After checking 2 stores for e.l.f.'s Translucent Mattifying Powder, I decided to try this, and honestly it works better as setting/blotting powder than that one did! Ignore the tone correcting claims, as this is a translucent powder that is great for sopping up shine. I just swirl a large fluffy brush in all 4 shades and sweep it on my t-zone to set foundation. I stuck a powder puff in the compact for on the go, since this has an awesomely huge mirror. I have pretty pale skin, and this does not wash me out or darken my foundation, whereas the Mattifying Powder was kinda pink toned and dark. You get 13.5 grams of powder for $4, making this is a legit beauty bargain! Will def. repurchase!

Primer/ Corrector -E.L.F. -Poreless Face Primer

I picked this up at Target after seeing a couple good reviews. At first I was worried, because I also read the stories on here of people developing horrible skin problems because of this. I believe this product used to have all sorts of parabens in it, but the formula I got has none. This primer makes my skin very smooth, and a bit slick. I use it underneath the Covergirl Outlast 3-in-1 foundation (which is the bomb) and it looks great. I have somewhat oily skin (but before priming I wash, tone and moisturize). There is a scent, but it's the scent of tea tree oil, which is in my shampoo, face wash, and my home made astringent, so it doesn't bother me at all (and is good for clearer skin). So far I haven't experienced any negative effects from using this primer, and my skin has gotten clearer, but I also just started strictly following my skin routine day and night.

Makeup Brushes -E.L.F. -Defining/Angled Eye Brush

I stumbled upon a bunch of E.L.F products at the Dollar Tree recently. I live in Canada & the dollar tree here doesn't generally carry name brand makeup products, I have lucked out & gotten some Maybelline & NYC products, but they sell out fast. Anywho, I saw this brush & purchase two of them among some other E.L.F goodies. I figured at a $1.25 I couldn't go wrong- & I wasn't. This brush is really nice for the crease, but its especially perfect for applying eyeshadow ony lower lash line & inner corner highlight. I haven't been able to find the perfect brush for that area until I tried this. I also love using this in the crease when I want a little more sharper definition- it applies & blends very well. I have a mixture of MAC & Sigma brushes, and I think this is definitely a must have :)

Bronzers -E.L.F. -Studio Golden Bronzer

If you're looking for a subtle wash of colour/sheen, this is your go-to. If you're looking for pigment or contour, stay clear.

I have NC20 skin and this applies beautifully for everyday wear. I would not be able to wear this in the summer though as I doubt it would show up when my skin is closer to NC 25/30. But i was on the hunt for a subtle bronzer during the winter months that I can slap on. My skin also tends to pull most make up I wear a bit warmer so the golden undertone in this is perfect.

I use a different powder to lightly contour my cheeks and then just mix all the colours together and wash this over. It offers such a beautiful glisten to the skin (i dont see any glitter at all). I have built it up a bit to get more colour on the cheeks, but you wouldn't want to do that too much since you're also building up the shimmer in it at the same time (unless you're going for a super glowy look).

Really recommend for the price. Already looking into buying the other shades they have.
