Treatments -Dior -Crème Abricot Nail Cream

Expensive ($30 approx for 0.35 oz/10 g) but WELL WORTH IT because the pot is completely full and you only need the tiniest amount for all ten fingers (and/or toes!), so it actually is a huge amount in the pot. It is very dense and emollient and does smell of apricots BUT it fades quickly to nothing (even though to me it is not strong unlike the fake plastic Sally Hansen Apricot cream:YUK) and the creme absorbs quickly. The product is a beautiful orange but goes on colorless (for me anyway) and it really keeps cuticles hydrated. It is not greasy or oily. It is sticky but not in a bad way because it stays put to be completely absorbed where applied, and the stickiness disappears after that. To apply I literally just use a clean finger and tap into the product once (literally all you need, one tap per finger) and use that finger to rub the creme into each cuticle and nail really well (use left pointer finger on right hand for all five and right pointer finger for the left for all five). It really is a lovely product that I highly recommend and will be purchasing again when I finally run out.

Liquid -Dior -Diorskin Forever Undercover Foundation

I have normal skin therefore do not need coverage to hide blemishes or anything. However, when it is cold outside, I just start getting really red, which i kind of hate.. I was looking for a coverage for a really long time and this Dior Forever undercover really has a perfect structure! The other beauty products which i would recommend for the perfect look can be found here https://fashionpotluck.com/lifestyle/products-ive-purchased-from-their-samples! I sometimes combine this product with other foundations, such as the Chanel one! You get the perfect makeup natural look!

Foundations -Dior -Backstage Face & Body Foundation

Giving this two stars because when first applied it was the most gorgeous finish I've ever seen. It evened out my complexion but still looked exactly like bare skin and it wasn't too matte or too dewy.

However, two hours later it had started separating around my entire face and oxidized. By the end of the day my face was covered in whiteheads and clogged pores. I resembled my early high school days before I took Accutane. So if you have normal skin that is not acne prone I recommend this, otherwise it's a total bust.

I'm torn on the packaging. On one hand I love how it holds more than a standard foundation but is still streamlined and takes up less space. On the other hand, because it is a squeeze tube and the formula is very thin the foundation would leak everywhere.

Highlighters -Dior -Nude Air Luminizer 002

First, I am really pleased that Dior repackaged and re-priced these (taking out the little kabuki brush that used to come with EVERY highligher and was reflected in a higher price). I didn't really need this product but it was too darned pretty to resist. A few years ago, I purchased their LE Glowing Gardens Glowing Pink highlighter (or "luminizer") and I just love it as a perfect shade for my fair and cool toned skin. This newer one is very similar in colour, which is mostly why I wanted it. I do find this one to be a fair bit more shimmery and, at first, I wasn't going to buy it for that reason but when I tried it in-store and then buffed out with a small, somewhat dense brush, I was really happy with the subtle glow that was left behind. This can give a more intense effect for evening or if that is the sort of look I'm going for (not often) but with this gentle buffing, what is left behind is an angelic sort of glow and I love it.

Fragrances -Dior -Hypnotic Poison

Hypnotic Poison EDT is easy to like. It’s a smooth vanilla. I do get the root beer scented Play-doh that so many experience, but that dissipates as time passes and the vanilla sticks around as the prominent note. Also, I think Hypnotic Poison is a toned down, not as heavy version of Dior Addict. If you tried Dior Addict but thought it was a bit too heavy, then you might want to try Hypnotic Poison. I find it much more wearable than Addict. To my nose, Addict has always seemed best suited for powersuits in boardrooms or for long black gowns at a gala. On the other hand, Hypnotic Poison could suit a college student or a businesswoman or a homemaker or really anyone as long as they love vanilla.

All vanilla lovers should try Hypnotic Poison. I’ve never had the chance to test the EDP, but the EDT is smooth, sexy, longlasting, and garners many compliments. Plus, who could resist that red bottle?

Can you imagine if Dior came out with a lotion or body cream or a body wash for Hypnotic Poison?? Heaven.
