Mascara -Dior -Diorshow Maximizer 3D Triple Volume Plumping Lash Primer

Love. For mascara, I always go for drugstore, but somehow I always go back to this primer. Used it when it had a different name, Lash Plumping Serum. Good that they changed it because it doesn’t really help your lashes grow. But it doesn’t change the fact that it is an amazing primer which lengthens and curls your lashes without making them clumpy.
Works with every mascara. Combined with my fave Lash Sensational or even Essence Lash Princess it gives me a truly “false lash effect”.
It will last you for even more than 3 months, which is why I think it’s one of those luxe products that are actually worth the money.

Foundations -Dior -Backstage Face & Body Foundation

on 12/8/2018 12:31:00 PM

I purchased this based on the rave reviews on youtube. I always wanted foundation that is lightweight with just little bit of coverage, meanwhile it gotta work on my oily skin ;) This worked great in the beginning, even though the color i chose (#2 warm olive) is slightly too dark for me (NC25/shiseido O40). But later on I noticed my skin seems a bit dull by midday, friends at work keep telling me i look tired whenever Im wearing this foundation. My face also seems to start to get oily within 3-4 hours.

Packaging is cute and clean basically, in a basic bottle. However, you MUST open the cap first and cover the opening of the bottle when you shake it. Otherwise it will be all over the place when you remove the cap.

Overall I dont think I will repurchase. Im just not wow by how it makes me look tired in just few hours lol plus it got no spf, so i gotta put on another extra layer of spf underneath.

Brows -Dior -Diorshow Brow Styler Ultra-Fine Precision Brow Pencil

The perfect pencil!
Dior did really well in the shades department. They have 6 shades, yet two of their browns will suit almost everyone. I don't know how, but it almost looks like the color adapts to your brows.
I was choosing between 001 Blonde and 001 Brown. They are similar, yet Blonde is a tag lighter and more noticeably ashy while Brown is very neutral toned.
The tip is very fine. It draws much finer strokes than Anastasia pencil does.
Very happy with the purchase! Will definitely buy again!

Fragrances -Dior -Jasmin des Anges Eau de Parfum

This is a very clean, clear jasmine that is a tad syrupy. Imagine Tresor got a little makeover from her more hip friend Diptique and grand dame auntie Nahema.

The first blast to me is a loukoum sort of fresh sheer floral that dips its feet in a pool of apricot nectar and then coats itself in powder. It is very clean, elegant, and even a tad too polished in the opening notes. The same powdery sensation of Tresor comes next, and the jasmine wafts in the background. Imagine you're sitting in your Charleston hotel's courtyard with tea. The generic floral shop vibe of your friend Diptique strolls around, offering you more hot water. Nahema is across from you, reading the paper. Nahema doesn't want a mundane scent. She scoffs at fruichouli-cotton candy foolery.

After your second cup, this gal is actually quiet, leaving a trail of the elegant sort of generic French cosmetics scent that tells the other guests you are a woman of good taste. Lovely, but not memorable.

Liquid -Dior -Diorskin Forever Undercover Foundation

on 12/1/2018 7:17:00 PM

This foundation is just awful. I have tried to use it in all kinds of ways for the past half a year but for me it is a major failure. No matter how I apply it it looks heavy. It accentuates every single dry spot i have on my face. It cakes up. It has 0 oil control. It separates on the oiliest areas of my skin. The lightest shade is way too dark for light skin tones and has orange cast to it. It does nothing to hide the pores. It sits in them perfectly though. I have no words for this foundation. It is the worst I have ever tried. Didn’t expect this from Dior.
