Toners -Dickinson's Brands -Dickinson's Enhanced Witch Hazel Hydrating Toner

on 2/7/2019 4:51:00 PM

I really wanted to love this product. There’s so few alcohol-free toners on the market, and this one had glowing reviews, so I was excited to try it! Unfortunately, it did not agree with my sensitive skin at all. It stung and burned when I applied it, and my face turned bright red. It does contain a rather strong-smelling fragrance, so that’s probably where the irritation resulted from. If you have sensitive skin, I would pass this one by.

Natural Witch Hazel Distillate, Phenoxyethanol, Polysorbate 20, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Fragrance, Sodium Hyaluronate (Hyaluronic Acid), Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E)

Skincare - Face -Dickinson's Brands -Dickinson's Witch Hazel

Sensitive skin "Must-Have". My Go-to product for cleansing, toning, freshening, removing excess oil, dirt and on minor skin irritations. Soothes, cleans and tightens pores without irritating or drying out my delicate, sensitive skin! Great for treating scalp issues- on patches of flaky, dry (chemically burned) scalp and dandruff. Good for soothing minor scrapes, skin abrasions, blisters and irritations. Non-irritating to very sensitive, dry and easily upset skin-Non drying! But (as with all toners) avoid the eye, don't use on eye area (obviously). A toiletry staple of mine for 10+ years. Other products just don't work as well and certainly are not as generally useful overall and all around helpful. It's inexpensively priced, comes in a large bottle and it lasts for ever, years (won't go bad or loose potency/effectiveness!).

I have to say, it's good stuff. It's helped calm down my sensitive skin since I have begun using it. I'll also sometimes dab extra onto a q tip as an acne treatment and it'll help dry out the zits overnight. Sometimes they even disappear within that time frame! It does have alcohol but it hasn't been overly drying on my oily face. I use it once a day at nighttime and my bottle is maybe a third down after months of regular usage. Great product, great value.

I love these wipes! These are the best face wipes I've ever used and I have used at least a dozen different kinds. These wipes are soft, nicely texturized, and saturated thoroughly with witch hazel which makes for a quick, efficient clean. Aside from the wipes using all- natural witch hazel (which I love!), they don't leave behind that sticky residue that almost all other wipes I've used leave behind. They aren't great for makeup, but I don't use them for that so that doesn't bother me. I prefer to use my Juice Beauty Stem Cellular face oil and warm water for that (which is a-ma-zing!) As for anyone who has oily, acne prone skin like mine, it does wonders for acne, as witch hazel is an all natural astringent and kills bacteria. Highly recommend!

I used this product about 6 months ago and I really liked it but I found it inconvenient to continue using because the only place I could find it to buy was off amazon so I went back to whatever I was using. I have naturally oily acne prone skin and I had terrible hormonal acne so the dermatologist put me on birth control for it. Birth control makes your skin less oily so the cleansers I had for oily skin dried my skin out and made my acne worse. This has helped me so much because it's gentle and moisturizing and my acne is practically gone.
