the packaging like a bonbon (on frilly paper in nice box) is cute but wasteful IMO. fine as a gift but... i'm just chucking it in the trash. makes me sad.anyway, i got this from thecureshop.com along w/ velvet bow. ended up liking this one a LOT. but am freaked out it's so hard to find to begin w/ & it appears many online retailers (i.e. beautyhabit) are phasing out dianne brill! maybe stock up?this gloss is comfortable. i like the consistency more than nars, chanel & mac. (fav is still rouge bunny rouge.) don't like that this is in a pot tho as it's more of a hassle to apply. decent staying power for a gloss.color is totally a MLBB! neutral enough to compliment many looks, yet doesn't wash me out. love.

I bought this in a Philadelphia Spa who decided not to carry Dianne Brill anymore so they were on close-out for $6.00 (regularly 27.00 - yeah right - and you can get them on Beauty Story for $13.50)Anyhow, Dianne Brill lip glosses come in a "pot" form and are all named for different types of lingerie and "Bridal Garter" is a pale blue (yes, blue - goes on a bit clear) and very sparkly. Thus my 5 year old loves it. I don't think I would ever wear this - expect for maybe over top of another color to bring out a blue tint. (Blue on the lips can help teeth look a bit whiter.) Hell, for six bucks? I indulged my little girl. Fo r$27 - Hell no!

15 Denier Lip Lingerie Lipstick is a light peachy/pink frost. If you are familiar with MAC Lipglass in Prrr, the colors are very similar when swatched side by side (minus the glassy shine MAC lipglass gives). It applies very smooth & creamy but you need to make sure your lips are exfoliated really well because the frost will highlight any dry patches on your lips. I am a PPP with yellow-neutral undertones & I really like this shade. I have several of Dianne Brill's Lipsticks & they all smell lightly sweet & fruity (think starburst candies, sort of strawberry/cherry/ orange). Here's a pic of my DB lipsticks swatched 15 Denier is on the far right. continued >>

Dianne Brill's "Stormy Rainbows Lace" is a rich, dark, sparkly chocolate brown that's the most perfect colour for blue and/or blue-green eyes. It comes in the usual Brill packaging. The pan itself is about a MAC size. It's incredibly pigmented and provides full coverage. That means, the way it appears in the pan it will also come out on the lid. For a fair girl like me (NC15) that's a smokey eye colour, hands down, so careful blending and highlighting is a must. But damn, it makes my eyes pop like you wouldn't believe was possible. It's really amazing! I had to decide between this and "Tahitian Lace" and I'm glad I made this choice because I cannot imagine that any other eyeshadow would provide such a result for me. Like all Brill products, it comes at a hefty price: 26 €. I'm fairly sure it will last me a lifetime, though. So there are no hard feelings at all. Should I ever finish this, I'm sure to buy again.
